STEMinist Network

The STEMinist Network creates opportunities for gender marginalized undergraduate students in STEM to connect and build community within the larger context of STEM as a male dominated field. We use the term “gender marginalized” to recognize the impact of sexism on many communities including, but not limited to, transgender women, cisgender women, transgender men, non-binary individuals, and gender non-conforming individuals.

Why participate in STEMinist Network?

  • Have the opportunity to connect and build community with other STEM students
  • Receive support and affirmation from peers
  • Provide support and affirmation to peers
  • Develop and practice strategies for success
  • Learn about campus and community resources that will support your success at UC San Diego and beyond
  • Build a learning community and support network
