What's up, Allure?

It's Charly Jordan, and this is

my 10-minute beauty routine.

[calm music]

[clock ticks]

So I know how everyone always says they want

to do like natural glam, but what I really focus on

is my skin and then just doing light makeup on top of that.

I travel a lot, so my skin has been breaking out

more than normal, but I'm gonna show you guys

how I cover up acne.

I feel like I'm pretty good at it.

[laughs]

First, I start with obviously priming my face.

I put sunscreen on every single day,

because you want to protect your skin,

keep it nice and healthy.

This is the Sonya Dakar Face Shield.

[clock ticks]

[sighs and laughs]

I like to give myself like a little face massage, try to.

Treat yourself, you know?

This is the next product I'm gonna be using,

it's the Benefit concealer, saves my life.

It's super lightweight, but also really strong.

Boop.

I just put it underneath my eyes and then spot correction.

And then going in with a blending brush, easy.

See how nice?

You don't want to like drag the brush

across your face, you try pat, pat, pat, you know?

Like see how much it corrects the redness?

[clock ticks]

So on top of the concealer, I like to put on

in the next step my Kosas liquid foundation.

I used to use a lot like more creamy foundations,

but this one's very liquidy, and at first,

it was kind of deterring, but I don't have to use

as much, I just do a little dribble dribble.

And because it's so liquidy, it doesn't like cake up

and get too thick, which I really like.

All right, yes.

All right, moving on, we're gonna go

into setting my face with powder.

I use the Hourglass Setting Powder,

which is amazing.

I love Rosie Huntington-Whiteley so much.

I go in on the areas that really need to be set,

I don't like to use too much powder

'cause it can also again make your face look dry,

and I already have combination skin,

so I literally just go in and use a setting powder on,

again, my breakout areas.

And it is magically gone.

Voila, easy peas.

Went from a glazed donut to a powder donut.

Next, we're gonna move into brows.

I like to keep my brows pretty simple.

I got my eyebrows microbladed when I was 18,

which was kind of a mistake, so I just go in

and keep it super light with a brow pencil and then gel.

This is the Kosas Brow Pencil, love it,

always have to start with brushing the brows up.

Gotta make them look close to being symmetrical.

Are they identical twins or are they sisters?

But like I can actually do this makeup routine

in 10 minutes, it's like those out the door,

natural glam looks.

I know everyone always makes fun of like natural glam,

but it's a thing.

I just do little brush strokes and blend it out.

Keep it natural.

[clock ticks]

All right.

Yay, yes, I use a little bit of a warmer tone on my brows,

but I keep it pretty much the same color

as my natural hair and now I'm gonna go in

with some setting gel so they can [slurps] stay.

This is the 24-Hour Brow Gel,

because I be out and about doing things,

so I want to make sure that they stay.

Brush it up.

Some people kind of have the debate of like doing

your eyes or your skin first, but I then go into my eyes,

we're gonna go in with some eyeshadow.

I use the Tarte Pro Remix palette.

I really like putting bright colors on my eyes,

I feel like my eyes are one of my favorite features

on my face.

I go in with this really bright pink color right here.

[laughs]

And I just put it all over my lid.

[clock ticks]

All right, so now my lid is completely covered

and is bright pink, it's like champagne, shimmery color

and I'm gonna move into doing my crease,

and I literally just keep it super easy.

I use bronzer for my crease.

I'm gonna be using the Hoola bronzer.

Love so much.

I've been using it for probably four years.

Sorta just highlight like the natural shadows

that are already in my crease.

I like using my bronzer because my eyes

are hazel, so they're green and they're brown

and depending on what I use on my eyes,

obviously that brings out that color,

so a lot of times when I put heavy eyeshadow on,

it can make my eyes look really dark,

so I like using warmer, natural tones,

and my bronzer is just perfect for that.

All right, now we're gonna move into eyeliner,

which is the hit or miss part for everybody.

I love liquid eyeliner, I always do a wing,

and I use the Hourglass liner.

Having a felt tip on an eyeliner

is super important, I feel like it makes the best shape.

Some eyeliner tips are just really weird

and that's like why I feel like girls

have a hard time doing it, but this one,

10 out of 10 recommend.

[clock ticks]

Yes.

[clock ticks]

All right, easy peas.

I think it looks symmetrical.

Yeah, just one swoop with your hand,

and now we are on to mascara.

I just got this mascara, and I actually

am so in love with it.

This is the new YSL mascara,

and I always do top and bottom lashes.

And multiple coats of mascara.

[laughs]

[clock ticks]

I'm gonna let the first coat dry,

then I move into doing like my blush

and my highlight while it dries.

I don't want to butcher the name of this,

I think it's Jouer [chuckles], this is Amelie Zilber's blush

that she came out with, love her.

I wasn't really using cream blush before,

but it's amazing, super easy, you just,

and then I'll take a little bit, put it on my nose

right here, perfect, no.

[laughs]

Now we're gonna blend it out.

You know, I put it on my nose, I saw Emily Ratajkowski

do it like three years ago in some video,

and it was like ChapStick, too.

It was just like a tinted ChapStick,

which I thought was genius.

It kinda just looks like you've been in the sun, you know?

I like looking sun-kissed.

I used to spend a lot of time on beaches,

but now I work all the time,

so we gotta simulate it.

[laughs]

Blush makes you look alive, you know?

I love blush.

So now we're gonna go in for highlight.

So on the opposite side of this Jouer stick,

there's just like, I don't even know what this is,

it's supposed to be a highlight,

but it's really, really light

and it's more just like a dew.

So I'll put this, it's just like a cream

literally like on this part of my cheeks,

so it kind of like primes it and gets it ready,

and then I go in with the actual

powder highlight from Becca.

Pretty.

[laughs]

And I'll set the highlight on top of that.

I don't like my highlight to be too crazy.

Nice and subtle.

And then I go in with my finger and just, ooh.

Perfect.

Now I'm going in with a big fluffy brush,

I'm going to do my bronzer.

I kinda just do it, I don't like to do heavy contouring,

so I go around my face, on my nose,

and on my cheekbones.

Going back in with the Hoola bronzer.

Gonna start on my forehead, around my hairline.

Got that from Kim Kardashian.

[laughs]

The contour queens.

Go on my jaw.

[clock ticks]

All right, so I contoured my face,

and now I'm going to just do a really light contour

on my nose.

I don't try to overthink it or make it look

really any type of way.

I just kinda go on either side.

Now that we're done with bronzer,

I'm gonna move back into mascara

now that the first layer has dried.

All right, so using the YSL mascara again,

I'm gonna go and do a second later on my lashes

and then do my bottom ones.

Just to make it look really full,

we love drama and length.

I feel like it's super important to let it dry

in between because if you don't, you know,

it's like trying to paint on wet paint.

[laughs] It starts to like mix together

and then you don't get like two defined layers of length.

And on the second layer, I don't like reapply it

from top to bottom, I just keep it on the ends.

[clock ticks]

That's pretty much all I do to my eyes.

I went in with highlight on my cheeks,

but I kind of wrap it up with doing highlight

on my inner corner of my eyes and on my brow bone.

So wrapping up the skin stuff,

going in with highlight on my brow bone.

And the inner corners of my eyes.

I get a really strong highlighter

[chuckles] for the inner corners,

'cause you want that pop.

So I go in with the color that I actually use for my lid.

All right, now all the hair stuff is done,

not the hair stuff, no!

All of my makeup is mostly done

and we're gonna wrap it up with a pretty lip.

I'm gonna be using YSL's new lipstick

that they just sent me, so exciting.

It doesn't say the name of this lipstick on the bottom,

but it is YSL, and these lipsticks are actually

like glossy, so it's not as harsh of a color,

but so pretty and I have so many of them.

All right, that was the last part of my beauty routine.

To wrap it up, perfume, always.

This is the new Viktor and Rolf perfume,

they just sent it to me, and I'm obsessed with it.

It smells like flowers.

[spritzes bottle]

Yes, and that's pretty much all I do

to get ready for my day.

[bell chimes]

Thanks Allure, this has been my 10-minute beauty routine,

and I will see you guys later.

[blows kiss]
