Consumer Price Index, West Region — June 2024

Prices in the West Region, as measured by the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U), fell 0.2 percent in June, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today.

Private industry employer costs for employee compensation among the four regions of the country ranged from $39.04 per hour in the South to $52.91 in the Northeast in March 2024.

County Employment and Wages in New Mexico — Fourth Quarter 2023

In New Mexico’s only large county, Bernalillo, employment rose 1.1 percent from December 2022 to December 2023, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today.
