The Harold Terry Clark Library, Rare Book Collection and Museum Archives
The holdings of the Harold Terry Clark Library focus on natural history and science topics that reflect the Museum's interests and ongoing research initiatives. The Library houses more than 20,000 books and a collection of more than 40,000 periodicals representing 3,000-plus titles. Subjects include paleontology, archaeology, anthropology, astronomy, botany, entomology, ecology, geology, mineralogy, zoology, ornithology and natural history art. The Library's mission is to serve the ongoing needs of the Museum's researchers and curators. While its holdings do not circulate to the general public, the Library welcomes browsing and on-site reference by appointment.
