Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi head to Marks & Spencer for a food shop before strolling around Mayfair

Princess Beatrice looked in high spirits on Thursday as she strolled around the streets of Mayfair with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

The royal, 36, opted for a relaxed look as she joined her 40-year-old businessman beau as they nipped to Marks & Spencer.

The couple, who have been married for four years, stopped by the upmarket retailer for a healthy food shop picking up on the vine tomatoes and leafy greens.

Beatrice - who is the daughter of Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew - donned a casual, oversized denim shirt, which she wore buttoned up, and paired with a black satin maxi-skirt.

She opted for comfortable footwear as she stepped out in white velcro-strapped Veja trainers, which retail for £150.

Edo went for a relaxed look and sported a white linen shirt along with navy suit trousers and a pair of white trainers.

He accessorised by stacking bangles and leather bracelets up his arm and added a faded red cap to his ensemble.

He was carrying their M&S shopping bag, which was seemingly full of fruits and vegetables, along with their premium collection of vine tomatoes.

The pair have been living in St James's Palace while their £3.5million house in the Cotswolds is being renovated.

The couple share a daughter named Sienna, who was born in 2021, and are often joined by Edo's eldest child, Christoper Woolf, known as Wolfie, whom he shares with his ex-partner, Dara Huang.

Both Beatrice and her sister Princess Eugenie are reported to have cried over articles criticising their hats at the wedding

The society bible praised Beatrice for being 'a beacon of sartorial elegance' by 'pairing vintage-inspired cuts with fresh-from-the-catwalk glamour', although it did note she was the 'subject of much jest' for the Philip Treacy hat.

Beatrice recently celebrated her 36th birthday, with her younger sister Eugenie sharing pictures of her sister on Instagram to mark the occasion.

The snaps showed Beatrice lighthearted poses on Instagram, and Eugenie described her as 'an inspiration' who has 'paved the way' for her.
