A racist thug has been sentenced to 10 months in prison after he spat at a bus driver and called him a 'Muslim terrorist b******' after being thrown off because he couldn't afford his fare. Michael Mongan (left and inset), 39, pleaded guilty to racially abusing the driver (right) and violently attacking a betting shop at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on Tuesday. The first incident saw the defendant, of Ealing, west London , repeatedly hit windows with a large stick and racially abused staff at a Ladbrokes branch in Northolt on July 27. A member of the public had to restrain Mongan, who was under the influence of alcohol , before he was arrested by police. While in custody, Mongan racially abused a police officer who was driving a van. The second incident occurred on August 7, while he was on bail for the previous offences, after a bus driver refused to let him board as he did not have the money to pay for his journey....read
