Legendary cricketer Warne died aged 52 from a suspected heart attack while on a boys' holiday on the island of Koh Samui in Thailand on Friday, March 4.

Thai authorities ruled he died of natural causes.

Four friends who were staying with Shane battled to save his life for 20 minutes after he was found unconscious in a villa in their Koh Samui resort.

About 50,000 people, including television stars, sports identities and politicians, were in attendance at the state memorial as family and loved ones paid tribute.

They also witnessed the Southern Stand being officially renamed the Shane Warne Stand in honour of the legendary bowler-turned-commentator.

Warne became a global star in 1993 by bowling out Mike Gatting with the so-called 'Ball of the Century' - his first ball in Ashes cricket.

He went on to get 708 test wickets, tormenting teams all over the world, especially Australia's great rival England.
