Lucia Hawley has taken a huge step with her boyfriend Henry Poole as she confirmed they have moved in together.

The niece of Nicole Kidman, 26, took to Instagram on Friday to share the exciting news, months after she first voiced their plans to live together last year.

She posted the life-changing update in her recurring newsletter as she detailed her feelings on the big move to her 7,700 followers.

The 7Bravo reporter shared her excitement over moving in with Henry but also admitted it has been a 'scary' change.

'I have spent the past few weeks moving into a new home. The move has made me incredibly sentimental,' she penned.

'Since leaving home at 18, I've moved around a lot; from college to share houses. I feel like I have lived a hundred different lives in this time.

'I swear years in your 20s are equivalent to dog years; there are just so many huge changes in such a small amount of time. In this most recent move, I moved in with Henry.

'As I'm sure most of you can attest to, the process of relocating is stressful and in between the chaos of packing boxes and trying to get my s**t together (turns out I have a lot of stuff), I kind of forgot to smell the roses and appreciate the new phase of life that I unknowingly entered.'

She went on to admit that because of the stress of moving, she hasn't had a moment to stop and appreciate the exciting new phase of life she has now started.

However, Lucia - who is the daughter of actress Nicole's sister Antonia and her late ex-husband Angus Hawley - admitted the change has also been 'scary' for her.

She explained: 'All these special moments are passing me by, and I haven't been able to fully grasp them and appreciate them.

'This slightly weird realisation made me happy and sad at the same time. I am exactly where I have dreamed of being for a very long time, but I am not quite sure how to hold on to it, and that's... scary?

'The weird thing about this newfound feeling of adulthood has made me go, where has the time gone???

'I suddenly realised that I had hit all these milestones but never once took the time to go, "you are living the life you always wanted" and that's because I still feel like I have a long way to go.'

She concluded: 'By no means have I reached my "end" goal, but my twenties (so far) have taught me that there may never be a moment when I have everything I want - and maybe the key to happiness is knowing that and realising that the goalposts are always shifting... (do I sound like a w***er or is this actually a good observation?)

'There's a corny but very fitting quote from John Lennon in Beautiful Boy that reads "life is what happens to you while you are busy making other plans. I am really finding joy in the little things.'

Lucia and Henry, who have been dating for three years, generally keep their romance relatively private and under wraps.

However, Lucia took to Instagram on Thursday - just one day before sharing the news of their new home - to pay tribute to her boyfriend on his birthday.

She shared a gallery of pictures of herself cuddling up to Henry as she gushed over her partner in a sweet caption.

'Birthday wishes to this awkward dude. We love you,' Lucia wrote alongside the post.

The couple first met more than three years ago at a mutual friend's 21st birthday party.

Henry grabbed her attention by asking if they had ever met before and they quickly hit it off.

'His pick-up line seemingly worked though because we spent the whole night talking, and here we are 3 and a half years later,' Lucia said.

Reporter Lucia has followed in her mother Antonia's footsteps, who worked as a journalist for Channel 9 and NBN Television.

Speaking to Woman's Day, Lucia previously said her family connections have made her more determined to prove herself in the industry.

'I would never deny my privilege and I actually, totally hold my hand up and say, ''yeah I'm privileged, I come from a really privileged family and I'm so grateful for the opportunities that have come my way because of it,"' she said.

'The only thing I can do is work hard and make an individual name for myself and prove myself.'

Discussing her 'nepo baby' title, she added: 'If that's the worst thing being said about me, then so be it.'
