Jamie Foxx's daughter Corrine Foxx offered a brief health update on her father, more than a year after a terrifying health scare.

The 56-year-old actor was filming scenes on his new film Back in Action when he was hospitalized in April 2023 for an affliction that still has yet to be revealed.

Just over a year later, Foxx was spotted resuming production on the Netflix film, which is set for release on November 15. 

His 30-year-old daughter Corrine - who stars alongside her father on the Fox series Beat Shazam - told ET he's doing 'amazing' while picking up a new hobby: pickleball.

'He's doing so great, he's doing amazing. I'm so grateful to be able to work on (Beat Shazam) with him and spend so much time with him,' she said.

'He's playing a lot of pickleball! That man and pickleball; it's like he's playing twice a day every day,' she said.

Corrine added of her father's new pickleball obsession, 'It's a whole thing. He's fully in it.'

Corrine recently got engaged to Joe Hooten, as she revealed how her fiance won her father over during a Hawaii trip.

'We were in Hawai'i on a snorkeling tour and none of my family knows how to swim. So, we're all in the middle of the ocean [and] everyone starts drowning,' she began. 

'One by one, my fiancé dived in, brought some back, dived in brought some back. My dad said, "He's a keeper! He saved the family,"' Corrine recalled.

He recently returned to work on both Beat Shazam, and his Netflix film Back in Action, which was interrupted by his mystery affliction.

Foxx plays Matt alongside Cameron Diaz as Emily, who came out of retirement to star in the film, her first since 2014's Annie, also starring Foxx.

Their characters are retired CIA spies who put the life of espionage away to start their family.

They are, 'unexpectedly pulled back into the world of international espionage when their cover is blown,' according to the description.

Filming  resumed filming of this movie on January 21.

In December, Foxx opened up about his near-death experience for his first public appearance since his shock health scare at the Critics Choice Association's event.

Foxx admitted that he could not 'walk' six months earlier, via Deadline, though he refrained from revealing too many details about the medical crisis that put him in the hospital.
