Brad Pitt opted to stage his new GQ photo shoot with Wolfs castmate George Clooney at Château Miraval in Correns, France - the same 1,200-acre winery worth $164M that's the subject of his three-year-long legal battle with ex Angelina Jolie.
The 60-year-old movie star and his 49-year-old second wife purchased the winery together for $28.4M in 2011, but he sued her in 2021 after she sold her stake in the ownership to the Stoli Group without his approval, which prompted a countersuit.
Ironically, August 23 would've marked Brad and Angelina's 10th wedding anniversary had they not filed for divorce in 2016 - just two years after tying the knot at the 35-room estate featuring a chapel, a moat, ancient aqueducts, a pond, and fountains.
The Mediterranean cypress growing at Château Miraval could be seen towering over Pitt and his 61-year-old co-star as they posed for Norwegian photographer Sølve Sundsbø for the high-fashion spread.
At one point, George's second wife Amal Alamuddin arrives at the shoot to compliment the two-time Oscar winner on his 'amazing' property: 'The kids were like, "Is this all the same house?"'

At that, Brad replied to their seven-year-old fraternal twins Alexander and Ella: 'Do you guys like animals? We have a bunch of animals over there that need feeding [including donkeys, bunnies, mini-horses].'
Turns out Clooney also bought an 18th-century chateau at a 425-acre wine estate in Brignoles - located just nine minutes away - online back in 2021, but he's 'never been there.'
Pitt and Jolie - formerly known as 'Brangelina' - will likely avoid crossing paths at the 81st Venice International Film Festival in Italy where they both have films premiering.
The Oklahoma-born and the two-time Oscar winner produced and starred as lone wolf fixers in Jon Watts' thriller Wolfs, which screens September 1 at the festival.
Meanwhile, the Oscar-winning actress portrays legendary opera singer Maria Callas in Pablo Larraín's seventies-set biopic Maria, which screens at the festival three days earlier on August 29.
Last month, Angelina's attorney urged Brad to drop his Château Miraval lawsuit so they can 'end the fighting and finally put their family on a clear path toward healing.'
Jolie had initially offered to settle, but reportedly took issue with the mandatory non-disclosure agreement and backed out.
The ex-couple - who didn't sign a prenup - still haven't settled their divorce nor their custody arrangements for their only underage children, 16-year-old fraternal twins Vivienne and Knox.
