Matt Damon was every inch the doting father as he headed out shopping with his two daughters and his wife Luciana at Westfield Bondi Junction on Tuesday.

The Hollywood star, 53, is Down Under promoting his new movie The Instigators but took some time out of his busy schedule this week to spend time with his family.

He proved himself to be a very loving father as he took out his two youngest daughters Gia, 16, and Stella, 13, shopping on the cloudy day in Sydney.

For the outing, Matt cut a laidback figure in a black T-shirt and blue jeans, which he styled with a black jacket and comfortable trainers.

He completed his look with a navy baseball cap and tucked a pair of sunglasses in his T-shirt as he accompanied his two daughters and his wife Luciana to the shops.

Producer Luciana, 48, looked effortlessly stylish in a black jumper and wide-leg jeans, which she teamed with white trainers.

She toted her essentials in a small black handbag and shielded her eyes with a pair of aviator shades.

Gia sported a grey hoodie and jeans, while Stella wore a black North Face jacket and wide leg trousers for the shopping trip.

The family were seen laden down with bags as they left the popular shopping spot down Bondi and headed to their vehicle.

Matt also shares another daughter Isabella, 18, with Luciana, and adopted her eldest child Alexia, 25, from her previous relationship with Arbello Barroso.

Matt met Luciana in April 2003 when he was filming Stuck On You in Miami and she was working in a bar. The couple went on to tie the knot in December 2005.

Matt is well known for his love of Australia and frequently travels to the region for holidays with his beloved family.

On his latest trip, Matt has been joined by his wife Luciana and his two youngest daughters while he promotes his upcoming movie, The Instigators.

The family also caught up with their close pal Lauren Phillips and entrepreneur fiancé Paul O'Brien during the big trip.

Speaking on Sunrise last week, Matt gushed over his love of Queensland and, in particular, the iconic Brisbane agricultural festival The Ekka.

'You're almost half Australian these days. You seem to be at the Ekka every other year,' reporter Steve Hargrave said.

'I've been a few years in a row to the Ekka,' Matt admitted. 'I don't know if I'm gonna make it this year, though, because I have to come back to America.'

The action star admitted that he's usually the one to jump on the 'terrifying' rides while his family prefer to watch from the sidelines.

'My kids love it because they force me to go on all those terrifying rides and, you know, their mum refuses to go,' Matt said.

'So I draw the short straw. They like watching me get whipped around on those things.'

The Ekka, formally known as the Royal Queensland Show is Queensland's annual agricultural show and it is held at the Brisbane Showgrounds.

Matt took his co-star Casey to the festival during their promotional tour, after reuniting on screen 27 years after famously appearing in Good Will Hunting.

In the upcoming Apple TV+ action comedy The Instigators, the duo play robbers who attempt a heist but end up on the run together when their plan goes awry.

Damon plays a down-on-his-luck father and former Marine named Rory while Casey, 48, portrays an ex-con named Cobby.
