Valentine Holmes has announced he is expecting his second child with his high school sweetheart Natalia.

The NRL star, 29, and his fitness trainer wife already share a son Billy, two, and have now confirmed they will be welcoming another baby in March 2025.

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Natalia shared a photograph of herself sporting a blue bikini as she debuted her blossoming baby bump.

She also shared a snap of her ultrasound scan as well as an email from her doctor confirming the gender of their second child.

Natalia shared that they are set to welcome another baby boy and also revealed the exact due date of their little one - March 1, 2025.

In a caption, Natalia gushed: 'After almost 3 years of being ruled by one small sir, we have decided the only thing that could be better, is to be ruled by 2 small sirs.

'We can't wait to welcome another little man into our world. See you March 1 our little baby.'

She also shared the words to a heartfelt poem which saw her praise her husband Valentine for being a doting father.

The poem read: 'Let me tell you something about your dad, let me whisper a secret, there is nothing, he won’t do for you, he thinks about you all the time, he works so hard for you, for his family, he wants you to have, the very best life.'

Her post came one day after it was reported that fullback Valentine has signed on to join the St Illawarra Dragons in the 2025 season on a three-year $2.5million deal.

Valentine and Natalia tied the knot on Easter Sunday in 2019, exchanging vows surrounded by their loved ones in the Dalgety Apartments penthouse in Townsville.

The swanky apartment, which has been hailed as the 'perfect escape' for visitors, is owned by Natalia's lawyer father.

The wedding guest list included retired Cowboys legend Johnathan Thurston and North Queensland Cowboys Michael Morgan, who is Natalia's brother-in-law.

The couple have gone from strength-to-strength ever since tying the knot and welcomed their son Billy two years later in November 2021.

Valentine was recently caught up in a scandal after briefly posting an image on Instagram last September of himself holding a white bag between his teeth.

He claimed the video was a prank gone wrong but the Cowboys and NRL integrity unit came down hard on the winger.

Valentine was hit with a $100,000 fine, $50,000 of which was suspended, and also copped a one-match ban.

He also fronted the North Queensland board to explain his actions and underwent an education program.

'It was a tough time for me,' he said at the time after being given a second chance after fearing for his Origin future amid the backlash.

'Last year as a whole just wasn't up to standard for myself and the Cowboys and I ended things poorly.

'I got the nod to represent my country again from Mal (Meninga, Australia coach) after everything that happened. That brought some joy and happiness back into my life again.'

'I feel like everyone makes mistakes and all I could do was learn from it and try to be a better person. Hopefully, other players can learn from that mistake too,' he added.
