A statement added: 'So Into You sets the supercharged dance-pop addictiveness to the max as B*Witched launch a powerful contemporary sound that's so fresh and full of the vibrancy that they're renowned for.

'Set to pulsating beats and fast-driving rock guitars, its energizing sound captures the exhilaration of suddenly being 'So Into You'.

'It may well be a quarter of a century (!) since B*Witched first shot to superstardom, but So Into You shows that they have lost none of their youthful zest from the first time around.'

Bookended by So Into You and last year's single Birthday the Ripped Jeans EP welcomes two other brand new tunes from B*Witched - Multiply and My Greatest Little Mistake.

The Ripped Jeans EP features collaborators including Mondo-Ray, James Lawton, Emily Andrews and Hamish Brodie.

All songs were co-written by Ray Hedges, the Ivor Novello-winning songwriter who B*Witched worked with on all of their smash hits.

The band debuted with their unforgettable hit C'est La Vie which was the first in a run of four consecutive UK number 1 hits that continued with Rollercoaster, To You I Belong and Blame It On The Weatherman.

They added another pair of top five hits, first with the all-star tribute mash-up Thank ABBA For The Music and then their own song Jesse Hold On.

They achieved huge success in America also, securing a Billboard top 10 with C'est La Vie, sitting at the top of the sales chart for eight weeks, and touring alongside N'Sync and Britney Spears.

Their popularity extended into the streaming era too, with the tracks on C'est La Vie: The Collection amassing 140 million plays at Spotify alone.

B*Witched also packed numerous arena shows in the late '90s, a level that they returned to in 2013 for The Big Reunion package tour.

Last August the band left fans aghast during an appearance on Good Morning Britain, as they prepared to launch the comeback tour.

They looked incredible as they hit the sofa a quarter of a century after bursting into the charts with their hit C'est la Vie.

Taking to Twitter, a slew of admirers marvelled at their appearance, writing: 'There looking great. Best of luck with the tour... What's their secret, haven't aged in quarter of a century, still looking amazing.' [sic]

Edele, Keavy, Lindsay, and Sinead appeared on the breakfast show to discuss their reunion tour and during the appearance they wore denim outfits - a look which became synonymous with the group.

The band formed in 1996, when Keavy, Sinead and Edele teamed up and later introduced Lindsay. After enjoying huge fame in 2001 amid dwindling sales they were dropped by their record label Sony.

Heartbroken over the forced hiatus, Sinead left the group which culminated in their split in September 2001.

In 2012, the group reunited for ITV2 series The Big Reunion along with six other pop groups of their time—Honeyz, 911, Liberty X, Five and Atomic Kitten and Blue.

On the show, Edele revealed she had fallen out with Sinead in 2006 and had not spoken since.

She said of the reunion: 'My biggest anxiety about doing this – there's only one, and it's Sinéad, I think. It's just how I'm going to feel about being in her person again'.

Lindsay added: 'Some of the issues we didn't even know were necessarily there until we were faced with this opportunity that we have to work together again, then we were like, 'Oh, OK, in order for us to do this then we have to sort a few things out...

'It all just came up. It's been difficult to get to this point. There's been a lot of talking, a lot of talking. But we're here now. It's very surreal being called B*Witched again because it's been 12 years'.

In 2021, Edele revealed she had truly departed the spotlight in order to make ends meet as she admitted she had taken an admin job to pay the bills after struggling to make enough money from her music career at the time.

The singer, who lives in Manchester, explained that despite her new admin profession as well as training to become an actor, she's waiting for singing opportunities to reopen.

Joined by two former members of the Irish girl group, Edele told Virgin Media One's Elaine show that having three children influenced her decision, saying: 'Truthfully just to pay the bills, I've actually taken an admin job for the past year...

'We literally have nothing on the go and no support at all in our industry. I have three children and so I have to be realistic and bring some kind of pennies through the door. I'm an admin whizz at the minute!'

Last year, the girls spoke about why so many 90s bands are reforming.

They said: 'Lockdown put a lot of pressure on a lot of people, and they just wanted to find a little bit of freedom again and be somewhere they actually felt happy and where they remembered things being a bit easier...

'I think the 90s are that for a lot of people.'
