Halle Berry reveals if she would ever play Catwoman again after 2004 movie bombed at the box office

Halle Berry after recently marking the 20th anniversary of her box office bomb Catwoman was asked on Thursday if she would ever play the superheroine again.

The 58-year-old actress during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon noted that the anniversary of the 2004 Catwoman movie was celebrated just a 'few weeks ago'.

Jimmy, 49, showed photos Halle posted on social media of herself topless while holding two cats.

'Let me explain, just in time for our 20th anniversary these four little black cats showed up in my yard,' Halle said. 'Like these are rescue kitties that showed up in my bushes.'

Jimmy asked Halle what she remembered about making Catwoman, which was directed by French filmmaker Pitof.

'It got panned,' Halle said laughing while sharing the expletive-laden reviews of critics.

'What I'm happy about is the children have found it now on the internet and the kids love it,' Halle said. 'So it's so vindicating right because now they are saying it's cool. And what the heck was everybody's problem with it. So like I'm so Brat now.'

'Would you ever play Catwoman again? Would you reprise the role?,' Jimmy asked.

'Maybe, if I could direct it,' Halle answered.

Halle celebrated her 58th birthday on Wednesday by campaigning for women's health legislation about menopause.

'It was great,' Halle said. 'I can't think of a better place to have been on my birthday than fighting for women. I know that sounds cliche-ish but I don't celebrate my birthday anyways so I got to do something that I felt was really important, which made me happy.

Halle said she just returned from West Virginia advocating with West Virginia Senator Shelly Moore Capito (R-W.V.).

'Talking about a menopause bill that I'm working to get passed,' Halle said.

Halle has been working with the US Senator while advocating for more research and discussions regarding menopause.

'Good for you on your birthday,' Jimmy said.

Jimmy showed a picture then of Halle with the Olympic flame and asked her what it was like to carry the Olympic torch.

'That was fun,' Halle said. 'It's not that heavy. I thought it was going to be heavy but it's not. '

Halle said she dreamed when she was younger of being a gymnast.

'I was supposed to be Simone Biles, but she beat me to it,' Halle said.

Halle was on the NBC talk show to promote her new movie The Union that she stars in with Mark Wahlberg, which premieres on Friday on Netflix.

While setting up a clip, Halle said the movie is about an average guy and she was his high school sweetheart but was now a secret spy. Halle said she goes back and tries to show him how to be a spy.

Jimmy asked if they did their own stunts.

'I always wanted to do mine,' Halle said. 'Mark didn't always want to do his.'

Halle said she teased Mark that she was older than him and still doing the stunts and so 'he would always do it.'

Jimmy then played a clip from the movie of Halle stabbing Mark in the neck with a needle.

Halle also played Egg Roulette with Jimmy in which they had to smash eggs against their faces without knowing if they were hard-boiled or raw. Halle's first egg turned out to be a hard boiled egg and she smashed it against her face.

'I'm not going to mess up my hair,' Halle said.

Jimmy picked up an egg and hit it against his head and it turned out to be raw and splattered all over his face.

Halle then went next and picked up an egg. She hit it against her face and it was also raw and dripped down over her face.

Jimmy's second egg was hard boiled.

Halle went last and picked up her final egg and said 'it can't happen twice'. It did, however, happen again as the raw egg exploded when she smashed it against her face.

'I'm so sorry,' Jimmy said.
