However, it is individuals like you who practice rational thinking, that define the future of humanity. The only purpose that the religious fanatics quite unintentionally serve is to add importance to the civilised human mental faculties of reasoning and rational thinking. The point is, the pursuit of truth requires us scientists to expose the harmful impact of prejudicial beliefs upon the progress of humanity. When Darwin published his Theory of Evolution based on his findings and other already existing data concerning natural selection, Christian fundamentalists could not gobble it either, but eventually Christianity embraced evolution over creationism. Likewise now is the time for another revolutionary idea to reign over the psyche of the thinking society, it is that every single experience of human existence including those that created modern religions in the first place are all products of natural neurological processes within the brain. Accepting this as an incontrovertible fact of life, would be the first step towards genuine progress in the path of both intellectual and emotional development. This development is concerned with the wellbeing of the human self and the human society, rather than any imaginary figure.(less)

What I learnt from haters (The Sonnet) | Abhijit Naskar | The Divine Refugee

In the recent years I’ve come to realize,
when you stand firm on rights and equality,
seeing you as threat, they brand you dictator.
When you have no firm conviction whatsoever,
you ain’t someone worth noting, just a number.

I’m flattered when they make serious time out
to call me stupid, meaningless and narcissist.
If intolerance of prejudice makes me a dictator,

“What I learnt from haters
(The Sonnet)

In the recent years I've come to realize,
when you stand firm on rights and equality,
seeing you as threat, they brand you dictator.
When you have no firm conviction whatsoever,
you ain't someone worth noting, just a number.

I'm flattered when they make serious time out
to call me stupid, meaningless and narcissist.
If intolerance of prejudice makes me a dictator,
Hundred Hitlers fall pale to my God complex.

I don't consider creatures like Winnie human,
who have no regard for rights over tradition.
If this makes you think, I'm megalomaniacal,
it's alright, you are just lost children.

I once said, no one is inferior to no one,
except those who think of others as such.
If this simple truth makes me the enemy,
ecology 101: sun always repels the badgers.”

My divinity is not rooted
in god or scripture,
my divinity is rooted

My science is not rooted
in cold logic venture,
my science is rooted

My philosophy is not rooted

in uprooting prejudice.

My Life is rooted in Love and Liberty.

“Artificial intelligence is nowhere near attaining actual sentience or awareness. And without awareness it’s simply a mechanical device, which may pretend to show emotions and sentience, if it is programmed to do so, and thus it may be able to fool the humans as being alive, but in its own internal circuitry, it’d simply be following its preprogrammed tasks through the flowchart of an algorithm.”
