Commission and Terms of Payment

National rate only is commissionable. All ads must be prepaid until credit is established and accounts are due upon request. Credit curtailed on all accounts over 90 days past due. All "going out of business" and political advertising must be prepaid.

Advertising Policies

We have to revise our rates from time to time, but we will give our regular advertisers at least 30 days' notice. We will be responsible for errors appearing in advertisements only to the extent of correcting the same in the next issue in space equal to the items involved. All errors must be reported within 24 hours of first publication. We try to position ads at the advertiser’s request. However, this is not always possible. Advertisers can guarantee placement of advertisement for a 20 percent surcharge, minimum 1/8 page. Minor copy changes are allowed 12 hours in advance of publication press time. Whenever canceling an ad after makeup of ad, any existing production charges will be made to the advertiser. A proof of your ad is available upon request. However, in order to provide a proof of your ad, we must have copy 24 hours before advertising deadlines. We will not be liable for any errors in an ad which was proofed by the advertiser. The advertising of an individual, group, or group of individuals, business or groups of businesses may be rejected due to subject matter, photographs or artwork, working or makeup. The publisher reserves the right to reject any ROP ad or insert/preprint even after they have been accepted and paid for by the advertiser. All political ads must be prepaid and conform to all state and federal requirements, including disclaimer statements.
