I'll start with the good, every Star Wars show has played with cool idea for ships, droids and alien species and this one doesn't shy away from that, plus its nice to not see a lot of sand so far. The Jedi have an interesting presence to them, a shadow of what they could've been before their fall in the prequels and of course fight scenes are still well choreographed and take the spotlight when they happen. That's unfortunately where the good really ends, beneath the surface of too many main characters is hollow attempts at development, Osha and Mae could be great but their dialogue is delivered like robots and their isn't a lot of chemistry, Jecki and Sol are good but they cant carry the show. The plot isn't a bad one and the first episode promises a new look at the Jedi and their relationship with the rest of the galaxy and with others adept in the force, and while I'm not overly concerned with canon, the way they decide to reshape it is questionable and disappointing much like the antagonist(s) of the show. So far I can't say much without spoilers but any hope I had is as dead as the younglings. Really my only complaints with this show stem from the two main characters of the show. The twins relationship is confusing at times and their motivations seem odd. I think the rest of the characters are written well and there is some amazing talent among the group.
