FAQs

Why is there little, if any, mist being emitted?

A: Make sure there is enough water in the tank. It can be filled with up to 100ml of water. The water level in the tank will decrease as the end of the timed session nears. Alternatively, if there is too much water in the tank (more than 100ml), the mist will not operate normally.

Other possible factors
Is the ultrasonic diaphragm dirty? Turn the power off, then use a cotton swab, or similar, to gently clean any bubbles adhering to the ultrasonic diaphragm.

Are there any bubbles accumulated on, or around, the ultrasonic diaphragm? At low water temperatures, bubbles may accumulate on, or around, the ultrasonic diaphragm, preventing mist from emitting well.

Is the air intake at the bottom of the diffuser unit dirty? Dust accumulated around the air intake at the bottom of the diffuser unit will reduce air flow and prevent mist output.

Other causes? Mist may not be visible depending on the temperature, humidity, or other surrounding factors. Even if the mist is difficult to see, there is no malfunction as long as mist is being generated within the water tank and the fan is operating (you can hear the fan motor).

Why has the diffuser become louder with time?

A: The most likely cause is the degradation of the ultrasonic diaphragm. This could be the result of overconcentration of fragrance oil, the product not being correctly maintained, or being used for longer than the recommended 180 minutes. The user manual recommends cleaning your diffuser regularly with a neutral detergent.

Why does the diffuser spark when I plug the cable in?

A: The cable should be plugged into the diffuser and then switched on at the power source. Following this procedure ensures no movement between the receptacle contacts. With this type of device, there is often an "inrush current" that appears as a spark when the prongs of the plug first hit the receptacle. Only switch the power on after the cable is plugged in.

Why won’t the diffuser turn on, or why does it only turn on for a short time?

A: Fill the tank with up to 100ml (full) of water. Pushing the mist switch when there is no water, or when the water level is low, will result in an electronic beep, after which the diffuser will shut off. Check if the AC adapter is connected to the diffuser unit and the electrical outlet.

To be sure, remove the DC plug from the diffuser unit and reinsert before checking operations.

Why is water leaking from the diffuser unit?

A: Is the inner cover misaligned, or missing? Ensure that the outer cover and inner cover are correctly in place. If they are misaligned, mist will not reach the diffuser outlet and water will leak inside the diffuser unit.

We have also added an elegant portable design which can be placed anywhere in the home, or even be taken out with you. It should be manually shut off after use, or when the tank is empty, to preserve the battery life.

Plus, our aluminium car diffuser cleverly clips onto an air vent in the car, meaning you can enjoy your favourite scents on every journey.
