Colton Emswiler joined News 19 in March 2022 as a Multimedia Journalist before transitioning to the Weekend Sports Anchor in April 2023. He comes from the small town of Charter Oak, Iowa.

A Sports Media major at Iowa Western Community College and Northwest Missouri State University, Colton knew early on that talking about athletics was what he wanted to do. He takes pride in being the first member of his family to get their degree after high school, doing so twice.

After a year of telling news stories in the Coulee Region, he's excited to take it to the next level in his current role. One he held at other stations prior to his move to La Crosse.

In his free time, he focuses on his super affectionate rescue dog named Grimm while rooting for his beloved Chicago Blackhawks and Indianapolis Colts.
