Airpark

Recently used Airpark over the 4th of July weekend. I almost forgot to do this review but was reminded how much I wanted to acknowledge the shuttle drivers.

We arrived at 6:00 am for our flight and no sooner where we out of the car then Jason was there with the shuttle and seeing how he could help us. We were lucky they weren't busy but he was on top of making sure to immediately, and helpfully respond to all roughly 8 of us needing to head over to the terminal. His friendly demeanor sure did start our vacation off in the right way, even though we'd already been up since before 5:00 am.

We arrived back in Oakland about 1:00 am on July 8th. I'm very sorry that I didn't get the name of the shuttle driver but he too was so helpful, friendly and made sure to watch over everyone getting their stuff together and in their cars ... basically in the middle of the night. So, so appreciative.

The lot is so close which makes for a smoother transition - big plus. The only negative I'd make is 1 - the shuttle busses could use a good upholstery cleaning and 2 - there absolutely should be an opportunity to leave a tip with a QR code. We would have given each driver more out of appreciation but were scrounging up what cash we had (since nobody has cash anymore). Also, it would be a good reminder to those that don't know these guys should be tipped (some of our fellow riders I guess didn't have any cash to offer).

My husband and I usually park somewhere else but they were full, so we made reservations to park here (first time). I will NEVER park here again. The rows are extremely tight. Getting in and out of your parking space is a real challenge unless you are driving a mini cooper. I was worried that my car would be hit with someone trying to get in or out of the space adjacent to mine.

The shuttle was right there when we arrived, so no problem there. However on our return, we seriously had to wait 30 minutes for a shuttle. In the time we were waiting for a shuttle, all the other parking venue shuttles had come around twice. We weren't happy and neither were another young couple with their two babies!

I will definitely not be parking here again!

We returned from a 9 day vacation to find our car battery dead. The shuttle driver was quick to offer us a jump. needless to say we had to jump the battery various times before we built enough charge in battery to power car. The parking lot attendant came and offered my family to stay in the little office while he would stay outside to make us comfortable. That is top notch service. Thank you Airpark for going above and beyond!

CROOK Alert!!
I parked 72 hours for $42. Plane gets in 20 min late. Man at the booth says "You owe $14." A large sign a few inches below the man says $5 an hour. I ask about the sign. He says "It's $15 an hour." He's just raised it a dollar. I say "But the sign?!? He says "I've worked here for years. You owe $15." So I take a picture of the sign and I show him. He looks at the photo--I kid you not-- and says "It's $15!!" I say, "It's $15 a day. I was 20 minutes late." I'm thinking, this man isn't letting me out unless I pay money I clearly do not owe. Finally he opens the gate and says "Don't you come back here!" Why would I want to?

We've parked here so many times I thought I had already written a review a long time ago! Airpark is our tried and true long term parking lot. Its no nonsense and affordable. And its in very close proximity to OAK airport. I never have to wait long for a shuttle to leave the lot, and upon arrival there's usually a shuttle on the curb already waiting. If not, a simple phone call and they dispatch one right away. Their lot feels secure and we've never had to worry about the security of our vehicle there. Frequent parker program is a plus too!

I was looking at different long term parking solutions and found Airpark. Chose them because of their good reviews and their prepay rate was about 22% cheaper than Economy at Oakland Airport for 4 days.

The lot was easy to find and there were plenty of spots available when I arrived on a Sunday morning. After I parked and walked to the shuttle, we were off to the airport within a few minutes.

On the way back, as I was getting to the shuttle area, I saw the Airpark shuttle start to pull away from the curb. I flagged the driver down and thankfully, he stopped for me.

Between the way out and the way back, I probably waited a total of 2 minutes. That's by far my personal record for airport parking. Will definitely use Airpark again in the future.

Found this place I think on Yelp here because I was wanting to make sure I was choosing a place with good reviews. We were running a little behind and when we drove in the shuttle was at our car before we could even unload! Quick ride to the airport and on the way back we maybe waited 10-15 min at most and they were there. We booked online, ahead of time which I highly recommend, it just made it that much smoother, just scanned code to get in / out. Prices were good, service was good, I definitely recommend and will use again!

We parked at this lot recently for one of our trips. The lot was a little tricky to get to as we had to make a U Turn to get into the lot. We were there around 4:30am and didn't see anyone in the booth which got us a little nervous. It was okay though as we had our paper ticket to scan and the gate opened for us. Parking was easy. It is all outdoors and seemed pretty secured. When we got out of the car, the shuttle had just arrived. The driver was pleasant and the shuttle was clean. We got to the airport in good timing. Everything was seamless. 4 star as it is $15/day, guess average price. But I wish they offered coupons. At least we didn't see any.

Good service. Since Expresso Parking closed, this is the next best place - closer too. Word on the street is that Expresso parking closed due to legal case from an accident with their driver and a UPS driver.
