Roshan stands out as someone who deeply understands the construction and maintenance of a variety of makes, models, and appliance types, charges reasonable fees, arrives on time, works quickly, and does not recommend unnecessary work.

Roshan was able to fit me in the very day after I phoned him about my dishwasher. He listened carefully to everything I had tried, and then Roshan immediately located and fixed the problem. He cleared the error code from my dishwasher so that if there are future problems we'll be able to diagnose them properly. He also taught me how to keep the dishwasher from having the same problem in the future, as well as how to maintain it so it runs cleanly and efficiently. Roshan also had a few minutes to take a look at my oven/stove and fridge, and told me what to do about some minor issues with those appliances. (He could easily have recommended unnecessary repairs for those, but I respect the conservative approach he took instead -- I will definitely call him in the future, knowing that whatever repairs he does are actually necessary.

He charged a very reasonable price and was personable and friendly.

Had to come to to check , but I wasnt available, didnt complain at all, I offered to pay for the no show and asked to come again again a second time. Graciously sent Nash over and Nash took one look and figured out that these GE dishwashers all have circulation pump problems and they dont last more than 2 years especially with the hard water problems in this area. Suggested I get a new good dishwasher instead of wasting a grand trying to fix the GE one which was less than 2-3 years old.

Somehow our dishwasher slide track is broken, and I looked up a YouTube video how to fix it. That's beyond my DIY skill. I called BayCity, and Nash came in on time and quickly fixed it. Further he offered us some tips on how to take care of the dishwasher and also offered low cost parts if needed in the future. Nash is very handy and communicates very well. Great experience!

I found them on Yelp and so glad I did! I got a same day appointment for my oven, which was not igniting. BayCity was very communicative by text and set my expectations. Once the problem was diagnosed, he gave me options for the replacement part and succinctly described the differences. We decided to replace it today, so the whole visit was affordable and short. In addition, I admitted I'd been having issues with my dishwasher and I got some great advice on how to clean it cheaply and easily! I will definitely call again if I have any issues with appliances in the future.

This week our Bosc h dishwasher began to display E:09 error code. By contacting Bosch we determined that was an indication of a heat pump failure. Bosch gave us the name of 2 repair services. The first didn't work in our city and the second had a 2 star rating.
We have had BayCity repair our oven and were so satisfied with that repair that we called again. We explained the problem and were quoted a reasonable price for the repair.
Nash was the service rep that called us to schedule the appointment.
He called in advance to let us know he would be here in a few minutes. When he arrived he had the new heat pump in his hand.
He promptly got to work and had our appliance up and running in about a half hour. The charge is exactly what was quoted.
Nash then explained ways to clean the dishwasher to rid it of any unwanted odors. He also pointed out some rust spots on the racks. He told us we could clean them to avoid having to replace them. New racks would cost about $300.
Nash is very friendly and a knowledgable technician.
We will continue to use BayCity Appliance Service for all of our appliances.

Thank you yelpers! I'd been putting off calling someone to try to fix my ailing Miele dishwasher because I *could* get it working myself and I didn't want to go down a rat hole of expensive repairs that never fixed anything. Yea, I've had bad past experiences.

Anyway I finally couldn't take it anymore and checked yelp for a recommendation. Roshan is every good thing the other reviews state. Professional, knowledgeable, on time and very helpful. Plus he's a fine guy with a wonderful life story.

Unfortunately even he couldn't fix my dishwasher. He tried but stated that if what he did didn't work (it didn't) then the next step would be very expensive. He went over all my options which helped enormously in my feeling ok about just replacing the poor old thing (dishwasher that is, not Roshan...he's a keeper!).

Nash is an expert on Miele dishwasher. He diagnosed correctly, ordered the part, circulation pump, and got my dishwasher repaired. A job well done. Nash can also repair other appliances. He is very sincere and well mannered. I will call Nash for any of my appliance troubles.

We have a 2.5-year-old Asko dishwasher that developed a problem with its control board. Roshan diagnosed the problem correctly, ordered the part, and installed it efficiently. He provided great service -- kept in close contact by text messaging, arrived on time, completed the work neatly. The part was expensive so it was a costly repair, but Roshan forewarned us, and the final bill was exactly as estimated. The dishwasher now works perfectly.
He is no-nonsense, professional, tidy. A+ service.

I have used this company on several occasions (dishwasher, range, refrigerator). Service is excellent: reliable with good communication, respectful, and educational. Prices are fair and reasonable. I have learned a lot about the operations of my own appliances. I will always call them!

Great service, highly recommend! Fixed my dishwasher which was european brand (Asko) and typically not common in the area. I wasn't sure if I should just give up on it because I saw parts were not generally available.

Roshan gave me a quick assessment over the phone and suspected that fixing would not need a new part. I wasn't sure about that based on my own online research and nonprofessional debugging, but he mentioned he also fixed a lot of these washers in the past.

We quickly set an appointment on the very same day, and he was able to diagnose and fix the issue quickly. As promised he messaged me ahead of time and showed up on time.

He diagnosed that the flow sensor was broken and used a special service control (not documented in the manual!!!) to switch the washer to use a timer to determine when there was enough water. On the way out he gave me a lot of tips to keep the water functioning, like filling up a cup of white vinegar to leave on the top rack occasionally, and emptying the filter a few times a week.

Lastly I appreciate that he wore a mask and offered to take off his shoes coming into the house (I told him it was okay). He was very good about washing his hands.

Strongly recommend Roshan and Baycity. It's pretty clear to me knows his stuff and is highly efficient.
