The first time I came here I got the Tofu Bahn-Mi. I forgot to wrote a review but I enjoyed it!
I came here 2 days ago with my mom because we wanted breakfast and this is one of the only places that has vegan breakfast options. I do wish they would update their menu on google maps and their site, since I couldn't remember what I got last time, or what they offered, and the menu they have online doesn't list everything (like the tofu bahn-mi), and has different prices (everything listed as $1 cheaper).
Still, we took a shot!
I got the Vegan coconut-cinnamon roll and the Rolled Oat and Chia Bircher Muesli with fruit. I thought I would still be hungry after, but I couldn't even finish! I had to take half the cinnamon roll home.
It tasted great, and satiated me more than anticipated. My mom got the breakfast sandwich that was on special and it was huge! Also too big for her to finish. So, very hearty portions :)
I will say, the coconut in the cinnamon roll was odd. It wasn't a texture I enjoyed even though the flavour was great.
My mom got a cappuccino and I did too, but with almond milk. Yum :)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jun 23, 2024
I had a rhubarb turnover today and Holy shit. That's it. Holy shit. It was so good. It was stacked high and then when we left less than 45 mins later, there was just one left. Wow. It was so good I considered getting another one but decided that other people should also experience it.
The iced latte was also delicious!
Love this place. Friendly service and really nice indoor and outdoor space.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 21, 2024
The cafe has a nice vibe. The space extends further back and the backdoor appears to go into another street. Just from a preliminary glance the restaurant could seat approximately 50 people or so.
The restaurant staff were nice and helpful. They actually forgot to give my friend an avocado as a part of his order, but that was able to be remedied quite easily.
I would say this could be great spot for you, if you enjoy healthy options and decent coffee (I say this as someone who is not a coffee snob). I had a breakfast sandwich that I thought was fine, but not necessarily something I'd come back again just to get.
Overall, a nice spot for a small get-together with friends if you're health conscious and like a nice intimate space. The main reason for the three star is the food. I wasn't overly impressed and can't definitively say I'd be back ever.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jun 30, 2024
Phenomenal. This gas town little shop bakes their own bread. Their coffee drinks are fantastic and their food items are amazingly fresh and healthy. Try the avocado toast with poached egg served on house made sour dough or go for the miso barley bowl. A plus. Would return in a heart beat.

I always have to come here when I'm visiting Vancouver! This little cafe is the cutest and there's lot of tables available! They don't have wifi available so plan accordingly if you're trying to squeeze some work in!
The breakfast sandwich and fresh squeezed orange juice is my go to but honestly anything you order will be delicious!
They made all their pastries and bread in house! The entire menu is crafted beautifully with the best ingredients.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aug 21, 2023
We had stopped by because my partner had wanted to pick up specific brand of coffee beans. When he bought the bag, they gave us a free drink, which was unexpected but appreciated.
I ordered a macchiato. It was a little bit too sour for my liking to be honest and I was not impressed.
They have free wifi, but at least where we were sitting (by the fridge), the signal strength was pretty poor.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Dylan B.Los Angeles, CA04548Jul 7, 2024
One of the best restaurants I've tried in Vancouver. Every dish was spot on, loved the salad which had plenty of avocado for the additional $3 and the miso barley bowl was so good. Tried a vegan ginger snap cookie that was masterful and the frozen apperol spritz was delicious! Would come here over and over again!

The drip coffee here was satisfying and the fresh squeeze orange juice was very good but the food was only okay.
We ordered the avocado toast and breakfast sandwich, both were a bit underwhelming for the price. Both dishes were very bread heavy, not sure if we will be back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 363271291Nov 27, 2022
I find the food menu limited and uninspiring here. Most items are very bread and carb heavy. There is no chai latte or London fog. The little stools had no place for me to hang my coat so I had to sit on my coat the whole time which was uncomfortable. I'm sure some people like the vibe, but it's just not for me.

Go here now!! I feel like I'm in Bon Appetite mag with the level of food and hipster atmosphere. All of their bread and pastries are baked right in front of you. We got two lattes, the muesli, cinnamon bun, and egg sandwich. They were all divine! Cinnamon bun was probably the best I ever had and the marmalade in the muesli was a great addition. The bread on the sandwich was also superb! I seriously do not know how this place doesn't have 5 stars!
