de anza applaince is appreciated at our house.
day before yesterday our refrigerator stopped working. i called de anza appliance (like i did in 2019), they were courteous, prompt, and sent us a repairman, ken, who was so cool, a people person, really easy to like. we were comfortable with him right off.

ken inspected the source of the problem, assessed it, ordered new part, came back today to install it. he listens well, is efficient, taking the problem in stride & working to correct it while explaining it to us. he did us right, at a reasonable price.

i highly recommend both de anza appliance and ken. as we watched ken fixing the problem, he had our every confidence.
we enjoyed his company, i'm sure you know he's an asset to your company.

sure enough, the refrigerator is chilling nicely. he averted us having to buy a replacement, mayhap we'll get another 20 yrs from it? lol

"call de anza first" is our motto now. thanks again you guys!

I called De Anza Appliance to have someone come out and look at my over-the-stove microwave since it quit heating things. It turned out that it was a part that would cost around 700 dollars so I decided to instead buy a new microwave. The technician was on time, very friendly, and very honest with me about my options on whether to fix the microwave or not, which made me feel very good. I will certainly use them again should I need a repair with any of my other appliances in the house.

I called De Anza on Monday they gave me an appointment the next day. I was getting an error message on my Kenmore washer. The technician called to let me know he was on his way. He was friendly and explained what the issue was and was able to fix the issue. I would recommend De Anza Appliance to anyone looking to have an appliance fixed.

De Anza was one of two companies recommended by the manufacturer of my Lynx BBQ for servicing my unit. They were chosen because of reviews by others and lived up to that reputation. They scheduled me quickly, came in at the beginning of the service call window and did a thorough check of my unit and tested that it was in working order. Very good job!

Our dryer repair was scheduled in a timely manner and Raye did a great job. He was quick to diagnose and had the problem resolved before he left.

On a 5-star scale, DeAnza Appliance earned a 10 today! I woke up to find that my GE washer's cycle selector knob was inoperable. I called DeAnza Appliance at 10:30. Chris, the operations manager, called me back a few minutes later to let me know that a repairman, Marcus, would be by after his lunch. Marcus arrived at noon time and resolved our issue in a matter of minutes. It would be an understatement for me to simply say that the service we received from DeAnza Appliance today exceeded expectations. It was so much more than that. The courtesy, timeliness, and professionalism I experienced from them today was impressive. I recommend them highly.

Would you pay $316 to repair a refrigerator, or pay $2000 for a new refrigerator?

Friday midday, the freezer working fine, but the fridge section warm, not cold. Checked the air vent in the wall separating the freezer, and it's caked with ice.

I empty the freezer, defrost the freezer the entire day , and remove all the ice building up in the vent in the refrigerator.

Make an appointment for Monday morning with DeAnza appliance. $130 just for the house call.

Just my luck, a heat wave hits the Bay Area, 99 degrees Saturday, with all my food in ice chests and insulated containers covered with plastic bags of ice.

My bandage fix has the refrigerator is working again by Sunday .

Monday, appliance technician Kevin calls at 9:45am, saying he will be there in 15 minutes.  Kevin, arrives wearing a mask correctly, and has shoe coverings.

I remove all food from the freezer compartment. Kevin unscrews all the screws to the shelf holders, as he needs to remove the back of the freezer compartment and thaw out the frozen water lines.

Kevin pours water down the vent opening in the refrigerator section to thaw out any remaining ice buildup, and puts a pliable glob shaped like moldable clay onto the opening to construct a patch where the insulation is gone from ice scraping over the past year. Uses a dry vat cleaner to vacuum up the excess water.

The plastic cover to unscrew the circular water filter is broken. No way to remove and replace the filter. Ice only for insulating food, not to be mixed with drinks.

Putting the shelf holders back is harder than taking things apart, as each shelf holder is different. Kevin cleans up the food stains on the bottom of the freezer with his white towel. He's always losing that towel, identical to those from a hotel room.

$316 to temporarily repair the 11 year refrigerator for another year. How long do side by side door refrigerators last? Our 11 year old Kitchen Aid floor model was by far the cheapest side by side refrigerator we could find, and has already exceeded it's life expectancy.

Could not get service before 10AM or after 3PM on Mon-Fri, which meant that I had to call in sick to work just to have them come diagnose my appliance. They charge $100-200 just to come out and a whole lot more to do normal repairs. I could not call in sick, so CALLED to CANCEL more than 24 hours ahead, and they didn't get the message. what? anyway, found way better appliance service than this - it's done by a better service, way more convenient and cheaper. skip this company.

Very responsive but do your homework before committing to use their service. They were very clear that it was $155 for an assessment of the problem. If you use their service, then they only charge you for parts and labor and waive the $155. Technician was there for 15 minutes to confirm that ignitor needed to be replaced. Estimate for work was $425, which was way over priced in my opinion. regardless, you still have to pay the $155. In hindsight, I would've either used that money towards a new stove, or watched a YouTube video and installed a new ignitor myself. Shame on me for not doing due diligence and kudos to them for a win win business model for them.
