Cris, had a very competitive bid to uninstall my old over the range microwave and install my new LG.

I noted he properly adjusted the vent system in the microwave for top venting vs default back venting.

He took the time to put the old one in the box so I can take it for disposal, set the time and he even wiped down the counters.

We also chatted a bit about my LG fridge and past issues with the linear compressor. He's clearly knowledgeable across the appliance spectrum.

Saved me a ton of time and hassle to not attempt this myself. He showed up on time, with all equipment, boot covers and was cheerful and respectful. I absolutely would look to him for future work and you probably should too.

Contacted Gold Standard Appliance Repair a few weeks ago for an issue with my Samsung frig that started making loud noises coming from the bottom freezer and also 2 of my burners on my Viking stove were either not working or had low flames. Cristhian was very responsive and was able to make it work to come out the next day. He was able to diagnose the issue with the freezer quickly and he saved us from having to buy a new frig. He was also able to show us how to clean out the burners on our stove and it's back to normal now. Cristhian was so courteous, knew his appliances really well, and his pricing was very reasonable. Will definitely contact Cristhian in the future for our repairs!

Christian was super knowledgeable and did a great job fixing my dryer. He didn't have the part, but he went and got the part and fixed my dryer. Highly recommended.

My encounter with Cristhian and Gold Standard Appliance Repair has been an overwhelmingly negative and deeply disappointing ordeal. The level of service I received from Cristhian was utterly subpar, leaving me with a sense of frustration and inconvenience that is difficult to put into words.

To elaborate, Cristhian visited my residence to assess the issues with my Viking trash compactor, which had ceased to function properly. Instead of addressing the problem effectively, his actions exacerbated the situation. After dismantling and looking at the mechanism, he informed me that he needed to order replacement parts from Viking, and that he would come back the next day to proceed further. But before leaving he also left the compactor in a state that rendered it entirely unusable. The ram was left in the "down" position, essentially locking the entire appliance and stripping away its basic functionality as even a regular trash container.

In response to my reasonable request to at least reposition the ram to the "up" position so that I could continue to use it as a trash receptacle, Cristhian displayed a shocking lack of professionalism. He dismissed my concern, asserting that it was inconsequential as he would return the following day to rectify the situation. However, what followed was a disheartening silence - a complete lack of response to my numerous attempts to contact him.

The frustration and inconvenience I have experienced as a result of Cristhian's negligent actions cannot be overstated. It is profoundly disappointing to find myself in this predicament after initially holding high hopes due to the stellar reviews of the company. Regrettably, my experience stands as a stark contrast to those glowing testimonials.

In conclusion, my interaction with Cristhian and Gold Standard Appliance Repair has left me deeply dissatisfied and inconvenienced. The level of service, professionalism, and accountability demonstrated in this situation has been utterly inadequate, and I am left grappling with the aftermath of an experience that has tarnished my perception of the company.
