My tired popped about 2 hours before my last midterm at SFSU. I was a little panicked as I am used to tire replacing (or any other kind of auto care) taking a long time. Got to Larkin Bros Tire Company (chose them based on their Yelp reviews and location that was nearest to me) and they were able to get my car in there and start replacing my tire immediately. Upon noticing something a little off with my engine, they also gave me a good recommendation to an Auto Repair shop in Portola (Action Auto). My tire was replaced within 30 minutes (the exact estimated time they gave me). Great service, prices, kind and honest mechanics (as a girl, its hard to find that at most auto mechanic shops!). Thank you Larkin Bros Tire Company! I will most definitely be back :)

If you need a flat repair, this shop is the place to go. Honest and on a timely basis.

Larkin is the place when you need new tires or a flat fixed. Honest, friendly, and fast. And local, too.

Second time coming to Larkin because of a screw jammed into the tire. So glad I found these guys. Honest and fast repair, don't hassle with other tire guys who will tell you to change all tires. If it could be repaired go to Larkin. Price is amazing feel guilty it's not more.

This place is great, and such a huge upgrade from Sears Tire Center where I got my last tires (long story). I had a tire that kept going flat every week or so and after this happening a few times, I figured it was a nail and took it to a first tire shop at lunch. They were really great but told me that it wasn't a nail but a bubble in the tire and it needed to be replaced. They didn't have my tire in stock and I needed it replaced ASAP so I decided to find another place. After calling Sears and finding out my extended warranty didn't cover bubbles, I decided to just find a local shop and I'm so glad I did.

I was a little skeptical that I could find a place where I could both walk in at around 3 on a Friday and also would have my tire in stock. Luckily, Larkin Brothers did and it was he first place I had called. I headed over and they were able to help me immediately.

First of all, they were super honest and gave me a fair assessment of my tires (even mentioning the bubble was pretty small and not a huge issue) and didn't try to upsell me or trick me into replacing all 4 tires. They even said I should be okay with just replacing 1, which is different from the usual advice to replace them in pairs (they are the experts so I assumed they knew best). The tire they recommended was also a great price and when I looked at it's prices online, I actually paid exactly what I should have. The cost of labor was also very very fair.

On top of all this, the whole thing only took about 30 minutes! Pro tip: head over to Flying Pig Bistro across the street for a beer or glass of wine while you wait.

I hope I don't have any more tire issues soon but if I do, I'll definitely come back here. Very impressed by their honesty, efficiency, and fair prices- easily 5 stars.

Love a company that's honest. BMW dealership said I should replace my tires soon but I wanted another opinion. Explained to the handsome guy who helped me that I would be selling my car in the next 3-4 months and really don't want the $1300 added expense of new tires. (They are fun flat).
He looked at them and said no need to replace.

Love these guys! I wish I could give bonus points for being open on a Sunday, coz nails really don't get a sh*t what day of the week it is when they decided to latch themselves to your tires. Great service, honest, and quick. I came in right when they opened on Sunday and there were already several people waiting to drive in. I was in and out of there quickly without an appointment. The best part was that the nail I spied in my tire broke off somewhere on the drive over, so there was just a small part that was still lodged into the tire. They removed it and filled up my tires, and didn't charge me a thing since it wasn't deep and so wasn't an issue for the tire.

If I ever have more tire issues though, I'm definitely coming back.

These guys are amazing I've brought several different cars to them several different times over the past few years. Several times I've thought I was going to need a new tire and they have said no that's not necessary we'll just patch the one you have. They are always fast an honest and thorough and reliable and I am happy to go see them as a woman and furthermore I'm happy to send my 20-something child care provider to take the family car to them for service with absolute confidence that they will not take advantage of the fact that she's a young woman. I trust these guys implicitly and they give you a really cute print out of your tire alignment when they align your tires.

Honest businessmen, good prices, prompt service, convenient location. That's pretty much all you need to know. You don't have to leave the city to get a good deal!

I've been around the car industry for a while and I am impressed with this shop. Tires replaced and properly balanced in about an hour. They have a modern wheel balancing machine (Hunter HammerHead - GSP9700). Honest and great work. Will come back. Highly recommend.

These guys rock. Independent. Knowledgeable. Honest as the day is long. I will definitely get my tires there.
