We have worked with Marroquin Appliances for close to 10-years sourcing appliances for the rental portfolio we manage. They are great, hard-working and honest folks who provide a good source of used appliances for fair prices and great customer service to boot.

Although, over the years, we have had minor hiccups here and there, overall they always have kept their word and stood behind their products.

If your looking a solid source for used appliances, Marroquin is way to go.

We bought a stove and a fridge for a tenant. Both were delivered INOP. They did come out and fix them. The stove stayed fixed, the fridge not so much. Freezer works, fridge section doesn't. I nagged them for a week to fix it, no joy.

In the store, their appliances are dirty. The salesman said "we clean them when we sell them". Bad sign. Well, they at least did come out to try to fix them. But at the end of the day, I have an INOP fridge, and I had to call an appliance repairman.

When a business fixes and sells used appliances, you expect that the appliances would function normally--at least for a reasonable amount of time. If it doesn't, you would expect that the business would honor their warranty.

Within the 60 day "warranty" period, the fridge started leaking. I reached out to the boss for repairs. First, the technician never showed up and had to arrange for another date. The technician eventually showed up but then within a week the fridge starts leaking again. I then reach out to the boss again who at that point ignores all of my texts and phone calls. I was unable to schedule another repair.

The problem occurred during the warranty period, we spoke during the warranty period so he knew about the issue during the warranty period, and he never actually fixed the issue.

When I asked for a refund, the boss said it's out of the warranty now. I told him that he ignored all of my attempts to contact him after the first "repair." The number I called and texted is the same exact number that is on the invoice. He said that I should have physically come to the store then. So what, customers have to hunt the boss down to get him to do his job? He definitely was able to text back and read my messages for the first repair. But after the first repair, he left me on read and started ignoring my messages.

I reached out to Marroquin Used Appliances because I wanted to sell a brand new slide-in stove. I purchased the incorrect one and was no longer able to return to Lowe's so I wanted to cut my losses and sell locally. The owner provided me with the phone number of one of his employees so I texted them the information, model number, etc....

The employee asked me how much I would like to sell it for and I gave him a number close to what I paid. (I understand that this is a business that runs on profit & I know I was not going to get my asking price)

Instead of respectfully declining and/or attempting to counter my offer, the employee proceeds to insult me saying that I am "crazy" for the price I was asking. I imediately told him I was no longer interested.

You don't go out insulting a potential client just beause you do not like their price. That is how you lose clients and build a bad reputation. Don't waste your time and look elsewhere.

Definitely do not purchase from here! We recently purchased a washer and dryer from here and the washer was disgusting. It had dirt and grime. It's the first time we needed to wash a washer before washing our clothes. Also the installers had to come out multiple times just to figure out how to install the vent (and it still wasn't done right). Needless to say, I'd recommend going someplace else.

At store 3500 dollars at Maroquine 500 dollars plus 150 delivery installation. Basically brand spanking new store display. Works perfectly fine. Been buying my washer dryer too her trusted place.

Be aware if you buy appliances from this store,
They sell broken appliances that goes bad and they don't pick up the phone or respond right away, also by the time they send a technician months has passed because they don't have the parts to fix it and takes so long don't but won't fix it good.

I was skeptical about purchasing my washer/dryer set here because of the reviews, but it was one of the few affordable locations open at the start of the pandemic. I waited a few months to write this review.

I've had my machines for about three months now, and they are working great. I use them consistently and all the features work. They had a few scratches upon purchase, but I was aware of the small dings.

We were told that the machines would be cleaned before delivery, but our machines were filled with hair and old gum.The strangest part is, I don't remember seeing those things inside of the machine when purchasing it in the store.

Keep in mind, the warranty is only for them to provide you with parts. They do not provide you with a repair service, and it's for about eight weeks only. $600 for both machines, plus free delivery and free hook up included with parts is not bad at all. Our machines are relatively new, a few years old max.

Do not waste your time and money. They sell broken appliances. Their delivery schedule is not reliable. Save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere.

I highly recommend purchasing appliances from Edgar at his store. They have a wide variety and are very helpful and honest. They provide delivery and installation. I will buy all my appliances from Edgar from now on.
