Excellent bfast join with great view. Ask to be seated outside and enjoy the marina.
We tried GOLD DIGGA BFAST POUTINE and CANADIAN LOBSTER & SHRIMP CREPE for the savory and FRENCH TOAST TRIFLE for the sweet. Loved all of them! I have to thank Yelp for the ideas on what to order. I would've had option paralysis otherwise as everything on the menu just looks Super Yum!
A tiny dent to the otherwise perfect meal was finding out that we actually have this restaurant in Newport Beach SoCal. We are visiting from LA so originally wish to eat at places not available in SoCal lol.
Oh well! It was a great brunch and nothing just couldn't ruin our smiley face when we left the restaurant!

I get sat down (great)
I was ready to order within a minute (literally. One minute)
Being outside. Getting someone's attention inside. Was hard.
Waved through the window as a guy cleaning tables
Next thing. A server comes outside. Instead of taking my order she tells me I gotta take THEIR order first cuz they got here first.... (table behind and to the left of me) no problem..... but the thing is they didn't call you over.... I did?
She addresses them and they say "they actually need more time"
So then. She comes take my order
You know. I get the whole first come first served. But. It wasn't like you came to check on your batch of tables. You came out cuz I had someone tell you to come out.
Getting a table was chaotic too. You show up and you have no idea who has been taken care of and who is still needed to book their table easy to come across as cutting in line (not the intention but I'm fairly sure I probably did)
Overall I started this breakfast visit happy and before my meal came I managed to kinda already be irked by the service as a whole

I've been meaning to try OEB Breakfast in California, so I was excited to see that there was one right by my hotel in Yaletown! This location was even better because it had a view of the marina.
We came on a weekday morning so there was no wait and we got a table right by the window. Ordered the A-Lott A-Laks breakfast poutine with half breakfast potatoes and half spinach and the Holy Crab!! eggs benny. Both dishes were excellent! It made me regret not having visited the one in California sooner!
Highly recommend OEB Breakfast for breakfast/brunch - especially if you can come during the week and avoid the long waits!

I got the avocado toast for brunch on a Sunday. Not really the best toast I've had. The bread was too long which made it hard to eat. The jam didn't really make sense with the toast.
My husband got the Korean Bulgogi Benny Sends me which he loved. I would recommend getting that over the toast if you're picking between.
I made a reservation online and there was no wait! The restaurant looked really busy but the service was still fine.

Food was really Good.
But service was terrible. I asked for extra plate three times. The server maybe only speak French, her English was Not as fluent perhaps.
Asked for Hollandaise sauce on the side, the kitchen made a mistake but they brought it out and see if we are going to try. We said no. The guy from kitchen almost threw down a plate
When we said no. Food is great but the service was awful!

My husband , brother and I decided to walk around the area nearby. It was our first time in Vancouver and we were looking for a brunch spot to eat. Of course, we had to try a dish with the maple syrup. I also ordered a lobster poutine, which was absolutely delicious and was to die for. The cheese was flavorful and the entirety of the dish was so satisfying. I also highly recommend getting the waffle here, it was made perfectly and maple syrup in Canada is no joke.
The service was pretty swift, they got us a table outside because we also had a dog. It was such a beautiful day and the restaurant is near the water so the view is amazing.
I can't remember how parking works here, as we all parked in a garage a few blocks down and walked to the restaurant. I would make reservations here too, as it seemed like it was very busy and crowded when we arrived around 11am.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Such an amazing experience here as a first time visitor to Vancouver! We wanted to find a nice brunch place and find it we did. beautiful location by the water, great service from the staff, and such delicious food. I can't recommend this place enough. Be careful, their breakfast poutine might ruin all other poutines for you. They also have a nice variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to go with your food. Definitely worth a visit.

But we all know pretty food is nothing if the food isn't something you'd come back for over and over again making this restaurant NOT worth the wait. Service is efficient, I'm sure they have some of the food prearranged already. Ambience is in the cutesy side but what makes this place is the location especially on a nice day. Oh and the host that day we came in was awful, sorry not sorry, to call her out but she decided to give people coming in without reservations a table. Please don't give people an option to reserve on Yelp if you decide to just let walk-ins have priority seating?
