Konstantin helped me out though the whole buying process. He got me a great deep discount. And he did no keep me waiting on for a sec on back and forth communications which made the buying process a lot smoother.

Chris, Ethan, Derrick & Alvaro together with the rest of the team at the service center are top notch and have been terrific ever since the San Francisco location shut down and we've been coming here.
Miguel & Gabe in sales were excellent too. Miguel put a lot of time and effort into guiding and assisting us in purchasing our new car, making the entire process a seamless and effortless one.
This is our second Subaru from Putnam having had the first for almost a decade trouble free.

My kids are grown and it was time for Mama to get rid of her 2004 Volvo XC wagon and get something smaller, especially since I live in the City. I had been eyeing the Subaru Crosstrek for years and decided that was my next car. We bought my son an Impreza from Putnam Subaru back in 2017 and my husband said that it was the best experience he every had at a dealership, so we came back to Putnam Subaru for the Crosstrek, even though there's a closer dealership to our home.
Miguel was great! From my husband's initial interaction with him, all the way to the day we picked up the car, it was a breeze. He kept us updated on the car which had be ordered months in advance. He was easy to work with, very personable, no pressure and we got everything that we wanted. He gave me a quick tutorial before I drove it home. The great service continued a couple months later when I wanted to purchase some accessories. I contacted Miguel, and he arranged the order and service appointment for me. Great service, Miguel!
I also scheduled a tutorial with the Product Delivery Specialist, Ricardo during my service visit since I didn't have time to do it when I first got the car. I was moving from a 20 year old car without all the new computerized technology. It was overwhelming to have several manuals that came with the car, even the Quick Start guide is like a 1/4 inch thick. Ricardo spent a good 45+ minutes going over the functions of the car in detail. He was patient and went through all the menus on the display. The were many functions and settings that I learned about. He answered all the questions that I had and was very easy to talk to. Thank you Ricardo!
The service department was a breeze too. Ethan kept me updated on the progress of the accessories that I was having installed.

Visited Putnam Subaru to test drive a new car. I wasn't intending to buy a car that day, but the universe had other plans.
Julian was amazing! Very knowledgeable, patient & respectful. I generally hate buying a new car because the process is sooooooo long. He regularly checked in throughout the whole process. In addition, he noticed a few dings in the paint and had the shop fix it before I took her home.
While I was waiting, Ricardo took me through all the features. He was also very knowledgeable and patient. The car was a big upgrade and I appreciate the time he took.

I recently had a horrible experience and ended up having to threaten to sue to get my lease rescinded.
I have a 2018 Impreza that I wanted to trade in for a Solterra lease. Gabe initially quoted me that I could get a 48-month lease for $500/month (total $24k) and get $19k from my car trade. I independently valued my car in Carvana for $15k.
When I came in 2 days later, Gabe told me that he had "used the wrong software" and that his manager was really mad at him. He told me the best value he could offer me was to get 6k back from my and for me to pay $600 a month on my lease (total $28.8k). At this point, I should have walked out. Instead, I let Gabe come down on the price and go through the charade of "talking to his manager". Eventually, based on his representations that he could go no lower than $500/month on the lease, I agree to trade in my car for $17k and do some repair work myself and pay $500/month on a lease.
The next day. I see the following ad on Putnam's website showing that they are participating in nationwide lease deal for $330/month with $330 down. Since they made a series of fraudulent representations to me to induce me into the lease, I get in touch to invalidate it. I was told by Josh in finance that either Anthony or Kyle could invalidate.
In trying to set up a time to talk to Kyle, I was repeatedly hung up on and promised return calls that never happened. It was completely disrespectful and probably due to the fact that I am a woman. Finally, Gabe called and set up a 1pm meeting with Kyle the following day.
I showed up at 1pm at the dealership as scheduled and Kyle was nowhere to be found for the next 15 minutes. I went to Putnam finance to complain and get Putnam's legal counsel information. Since I drove a half an hour to get there, I gave one more chance and Kyle ended up being at the counter with his boss Anthony. He claimed Gabe didn't set up an appointment but didn't apologize.
I requested to record our conversation because I had been lied to so much at this point and both Kyle and Anthony refused. Kyle said he needed to protect his privacy. Kyle then tried to bully me, asking if I signed the lease and drove the car. I told him this was irrelevant under CA law since the lease was based on fraud. He then tried to argue the fraud with me by saying that Putnam just had the offer on their website but wasn't actually offering it. I am an attorney and told him that he didn't have enough knowledge of the law to debate me on this. Thankfully, Anthony stepped in at this point and offered to take action on the lease.
Putnam ended up rescinding my lease but they failed at every step to treat me with any shread of dignity or respect. It was dehumanizing and sexist. Worse, if I wasn't a lawyer, it could have cost me a ton of money in legal representation to deal with them. Putnam Subaru is the best dealer I've been dealing with. The right information with timely manner, get to the point and listen to my concerns in every aspects. We had such a great relationship with Miguel Reyes. Miguel had been following up on deals and reached out to me before my lease is up. He gave me options with details for both buy out the current vehicle and leasing the new one. Jun 8, 2021Previous reviewI have the most pleasant time leasing a vehicle with Putnam Subaru. Miguel Reyes was wonderful. He's on top of email and text and answers all my questions promptly. I've been in the market for awhile and know exactly what I want and search all dealers in the area plus the internet sales. Miguel is the first one who answers all my questions and send me details of couple cars that up to my specs. He helped make the entire process smooth and easy and not hesitate to listen to customer needs first. I've been through many dealers before going to Putnam Subaru but not make it happened till I met Miguel. I would recommend Miguel for anyone who consider purchase or lease the Subaru that you will be very happy and satisfy of what you choose.

I had just bought a pre-owned Mazda 6. It is a beautiful car! However, my 103 year old mother couldn't get into the car. It was just too low. With tears, I knew I had to sell and get something easier for her.
I did a lot of research and decided that a Subaru Outback would work. So next, I went to various dealerships to see what was in stock. None had the perfect one, color, trim, accessories, etc. I decided to do a build of my own.
I went back to Putnam Subaru as Miguel helped me feel most comfortable. We went on a couple test drives together. He was so easy to talk with, and so understanding. My texts to Miguel were answered rapidly, even on off hours and weekdays. Miguel helped me to do the online build, explaining all the accessories. As we talked, he found he had something very similar on the lot. It had everything I wanted and a bit more. So I took a look.
An hour later, I was driving off the lot! From day one, I have loved my new Outback. I even named her Suki :) Miguel is still helping me too!
