Had to replace an Induction Cooktop. The problem was that the cut-out was too small for the brand we wanted. We ultimately got another brand and it works great.

Johe came to our house twice. He is very professional in appearance and behavior, knowledgable in spite of being young, works efficiently, and an excellent communicator. Would be the first person I call with any other issues and would recommend him highly to others.

Electric dryer not working, Johe charged $105 for diagnostic but would apply that fee towards repair. Johe showed up, within a few minutes told us the dryer was fine, needed new 240V outlet which he didn't do, needed to get an electrician for that. Cost me $240 for electrician to house call and install new outlet, plug for dryer, but electrician told me the outlet was fine, but since he was here and paid for he replaced. Called Johe and complained, he came out again wanted to review the electricians work, and I asked him to focus on the dryer, which he examined without fully taking apart and after awhile told me he wasn't sure, either the controller or motor might be bad, he didn't know.

He promised to refund my $105 due to the poor/ expensive advice initially and the fact that he didn't establish what was wrong, then left. Just got my VISA bill. He told me he refunded my $105, but didn't really do that.

Johe did an outstanding job on repairing my 10-year-old double oven. I'm a general engineering contractor and have worked with lots of companies over the past 40+ years. Johe is my appliance guy from here on out. He is a true professional.

Great, friendly, professional service at very reasonable cost. They answer the phone quickly and with a friendly demeanor, and we're very quick to call me back the one time I didn't catch them right away. If you have a somewhat urgent need, they'll go out of their way to accommodate you, very customer-centric!

I had Silicon Valley Appliance replace my aging cooktop after they explained to me what I needed to order (they don't sell new appliances but still helped me with my selection and talked me through what else to order so they'd have everything needed to complete the job in one visit). Johe did the install. He was timely, friendly, polite, and very respectful of our home. My 3 year-old also showed up with a barrage of questions for him and he was very gracious. The new cooktop is beautiful, and perfectly installed. Unlike the old one, it's perfectly level too so when I'm frying eggs they don't slide to one side of the pan (that used to drive me nuts!). Johe clearly took pride in doing a great job, and he answered my questions about several other aging appliances along the way.

I'll definitely use them again for any future appliance repairs and replacements!

Johe is the quintessential professional -- he is knowledgable, skilled, efficient, flexible, and an excellent communicator. He explained the issue to us and fixed it quickly. He also advised how to treat the appliances if we. were to remodel the kitchen. My husband is now working with him to fix a microwave. Oh and he showed up exactly when he told us he would. Highly highly recommend!

we had a difficult set up with our washer dryer stacked and in a tight place .
needed the bladder replaced on the washer as it was moldy and starting to smell. Johe (who is the owner) got the job done quickly and was pleasant and efficient. i highly recommend him. others told us it would be best to replace the whole washer due to the difficulty of the job.

My Kenmore Elite refrigerator failed but Sears offered an appointment 3 weeks out.

If it was a small matter, I'd go ahead and fix it.

Unfortunately, Johe found the problem was serious.

I appreciated knowing this rather than being sold some expensive fix that would not hold.

(Turns out, this is a known defective compressor from LG. It is covered under the factory warranty, but no one can tell me if they just replace it with another defect. LG denies the problem, but it's been doing this in one way or another for years.)

I had trouble sending him a text, so there was confusion. And it inconvenienced him, I'm sure. But he was very patient and professional.

I trust him.

My Whirlpool washer machine has been going out for awhile. I attempted to wash a couple of items. Unfortunately for me the washer stopped before the spin cycle and wouldn't unlock. I looked on Google for a company that does whirlpool. Johe from Silicon Valley Appliance Service & Repair to the recuse. He explained everything. Told me not to fix the washer. He did unlock it. He said if it was just the locking mechanism it could be repaired. But the baring were going out. We had already bought a new Whirlpool washer. But unfortunately it wouldn't be arrive until March 8. I also had Johe order the water filter part for my whirlpool refrigerator. He will install it when it comes in. Johe also cleaned behind my washer!!! He went above and beyond. I highly recommend Silicon Valley Appliance Service & Repair. Excellent service
