I am delighted to have found Spark Appliance! Elsevar is trained as an engineer and applies his engineering mind to swiftly diagnosing and solving problems. His approach to customer service is terrific for a repair service as well: responsive, prompt and courteous. I will most definitely call this repair service again.

Elsevar was great fixing our Electrolux dryer. He communicated everything, was on time, knew exactly what he was doing, and charged a reasonable price. And he's funny. What more could you ask for.

Needed a repair ASAP on an expensive GE Profile 27cu ft refrigerator that was exactly two months out of warranty (grrrr). Fridge was freezing the meat drawer, but everything else in the rest of the fridge wasn't cool enough. All of this right in the middle of the winter holidays and the crazy winter weather we've been having.

Elsevar was super fast to respond to my call, and was able to fit us in the next day to get the fridge fixed (broken evaporator fan motor).

Super grateful that he was fast and efficient - we had to manage this for our friends in the house, from 2000 miles away, and he was prompt, punctual, and able to get it done. Definitely will call Spark Appliance again next time there's another appliance issue!

Great service from Spark Appliance. Called up Spark Appliance in the afternoon concerning a Bosch dishwasher which had an E09 error (heating element problem). Elsevar let me know he could take care of it same day. So that was awesome. He explained the E09 issue and the fix which is to replace the heater/circulation pump as that is the solution 99% of the cases (which also matched what I researched online as to how to fix this E09 issue). He also mentioned that the 1% could also be for other reasons such as an electrical or computer related issue (e.g. false signal). He let me know the cost for the repair and timing for the job as he had to go get the part to be replaced.

Elsevar and two of his team showed up when they said and proceeded with the repair. All went smoothly. As part of the repair they ran a test to verify no leaks and proper water pressure and no error code seen. I have run the dishwasher and it worked just fine, no error codes, dishes were clean and all is well again. Also, Parvin noticed the filter was dirty and that may have impeded water flow and contributed to the failure. So he reminded me to regularly check it and clean it!

It was a pleasure to deal with Elsevar and his team. Incredible fast service (I did not expect to get the dishwasher fixed hours after I called). They were knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Their prices were reasonable as well. You can pay via cash, check, venmo or zelle. I will definitely call them again for any appliance issues they service.

Called Elsevar on Friday 9:30am and made an appointment for 11 - 1pm. They arrived on 11am. My 12-year old GE Profile franch door refrigerator's freezer is not cold enought for 2 days. About one month ago, we keep have water leaking on the ground. I thought it's freezer's issue. But Elsevar can quickly point out there are multiple issues and point me the root of water leakage. It's in refrigerator instead of freezer. He and his technician quickly removed everything in refrigerator and dissemble the parts to clean out the frozen issue in refrigerator. They also pulse for 10 minutes to allow my mom to take this opportunity to clean up the refrigerator.

The second issue is in freezer that the motor is malfunction. Elsevar ordered a part online immediately and show me how much it is. We made another appointment on Monday afternoon to replace the motor. Elsevar is very knowledge and reliable. He mentioned to me there may have other issues, but let's fix the most obvious two first. Elsevar told me a lot regarding refrigerator during his stay. His charge is very reasonable ($245) and his work is neat and professional. I do highly recommend Elsevar and his Spark team.

Spark Appliance continues as my 'go to' appliance repair. Most recently my 10 year old Whirlpool refrigerator had erratic low temperatures (sometimes freezing the lettuce). Elsevar arrived with an assistant, diagnosed the problem as a faulty diffuser (vent between freezer & fridge), then picked up the replacement part, and completed the repair (all in same day). In past Spark Appliance has repaired my dish washer and dryer (also same day repairs). In another case Elsevar recommended replacing an applicance in lieu of costly repair and he was so right. Excellent and timely service and advice.

We called Spark about taking a look at our washing machine since it wasn't working and told them our model number, what was wrong and the error code we were seeing over the phone. The next day, Elsevar, the owner comes by to take a look. He asks me to start the washing machine, which I do, and I repeat to him the error code we were seeing. He then looks up on his phone to see if there is a replacement part. Unfortunately there is none available and mentions there is nothing he can do. He proceeds to charge the fee for the house call without waiting for the washer cycle to get to the error code and leaves.

The issue I have with this service is that I believe they could have checked if a replacement part was available before making the house call since we gave them the error code and searching the error code online would have shown that the replacement part would be unavailable for our model. A house visit would not have been needed since there was nothing he could have done to fix the machine. In total he spent 15 minutes at our place, did not wait for the cycle to get to the error code, and still collected the house call fee while our washer still has the error code. Were they dishonest? Not necessarily, but it is also a business I would not call again.

I would like to highly recommend Spark Appliance Repair for their professionalism in getting my microwave fixed. Elsevar arrived within a few hours of giving him a call. I texted him about the problem. He researched before he came and identified and ordered the part to be replaced. The next day he returned and replaced the faulty part in 30 mins. Excellent service!

Our rental's dishwasher detergent box would not open during wash. I called Spark Appliance Repair last Thursday morning. Elsevar told me his hands were full that day. But he still managed to order a new dishwasher detergent dispenser for me Thursday evening. Next day, Friday morning, Parvin picked up the parts, came to our rental, took out the old detergent box, installed the new one. He gave the dishwasher a good run. It ran smoothly. Job well done. Parvin came to the job site on time, was polite, answered all my questions, knew what he was doing, and got the job done efficiently. He also replaced a new oven light for me, on the side. It's like getting fries with my hamburger. . Spark Appliance Repair is an excellent team. Five Stars!

I had a problem with my washer this week. I called the store and Elsevar assured me they could fix it. He was prompt, professional and courteous. He got to the root of the problem within 10 min, had a replacement in his bag and left in under 30 min. I hope I don't have to call them again but they have my business for any future appliance emergency.

Absolutely fantastic service from the Spark Appliance Repair. I had a problem with the freezer of my refrigerator building up ice inside. Elsevar and another technician showed up on time for the appointment. They quickly diagnosed the problem to be related to a clogged freezer drain line. They were confident about getting the fix done and finished the job in about two hours. As a bonus, they also re-aligned my refrigerator door and an inside tray. They also noticed that my ice maker was not hooked up and was taking up space. They helped took that out which gives me more space - who doesn't want more space in the freezer these days!

Really professional experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!
