I recently had the misfortune of my washer breaking down and needed a reliable repair service. I contacted Triton Appliance Repair and was very impressed with their prompt response and professionalism. Konstatin came and quickly diagnosed the issue, ordered the necessary part, and returned promptly by the end of the week to fix the washer. He showed up on time, completed the work efficiently, and the price was very reasonable. I am extremely satisfied with the service provided and would highly recommend Triton Appliance Repair to anyone in need of appliance repair services.

Vlad was very friendly, efficient and professional. Customer service is very quick to answer. I had a Samsung refrigerator that needed defrost - Vlad came next day, arrived on time. He entered the house with booties. He quickly diagnosed, and job was done within an hour. He explained what he did afterward, with pictures and all. My service costed $300, including $89 service call fee. Would call Triton again in the future

Konstantin from Triton Appliance Repair was outstanding! He was on time (even texting me updates of when to expect him), very professional, and successfully assessed and fixed our range hood that had been making a grinding noise!

Our family is so grateful for the superb service call! We will definitely be repeat customers if and when another appliance needs service!

TL;DR: I had a poor experience that, in the end, was addressed by management.

UPDATE
A Triton supervisor reached out by phone to apologize and ended up refunding me for the inspection fee, which I appreciate. He also tried to explain the pricing and the diagnosis process, which did little to increase my confidence in the company. As a result of the company taking action to do the only thing they could to try and make things right, I updated my review to 3 stars.

Situation
I contacted Triton Appliance Repair for help with a 4-year-old KitchenAid dishwasher that wasn't draining. I suspected there might be something stuck in the drain. The filters were clean, so I wanted some professional help getting it draining normally again.

The Good
Triton was responsive to my initial request and quick to schedule an appointment. The service person gave me a heads up when they were on their way and their ETA was accurate.

The Gray
They arrived ~1 hour before the scheduled appointment window. It wasn't a problem, but it's most convenient when people arrive during the time scheduled.

The Bad
The repair person that came out did even less than I did to troubleshoot the issue -- they simply ran the dishwasher and diagnosed an issue with the drain pump and that it needs to be replaced. They said it will take 3-5 business days for parts and cost ~$400 for parts & labor. When asked about simply cleaning out the drain to remove any debris, they sent an invoice for about the same amount as replacing the pump.

Just for coming out and running the dishwasher to see there's a problem, they charged me $89.

Because of the poor experience, I did not hire them for additional work.

Instead, I hired a 5-star reviewed business and had the drain line cleaned out -- there was debris clogging the line. The pump is fine, doesn't need to be replaced. And the 5-star rated business only charged me $95 for cleaning out the drain line and air gap.

Clearly others have had better experiences, but in my instance, Triton failed to deliver quality service, and it felt like they're just out to make a quick buck. The least they could've done is waived the inspection fee, since they didn't provide a thorough inspection or accurately diagnose the problem.

Lessons learned
1. Stick with 5-star rated businesses
2. Don't agree to pay for someone to "take a look". Hire people to actually do some work that might help.

We had a little bit of water pooling under the front of our Sub Zero refrigerator and we're worried that the waterline might have broken. My regular guy was booked so I turned to yelp to find a reputable company to take a look at it. Luckily, I found Triton Appliance Repair. They quickly sent out Veet to take a look at the unit. He was able to tell us that there was no waterline leak and that it was a clogged drain pipe in the very back of the refrigerator that was backed up. Whew! We asked him to do some servicing and cleaning of the refrigerator and he gave us a very very reasonable deal.

Super friendly, removed his shoes without asking and cleaned up afterwards. He used a steam cleaner and some organic cleaning solution to clean the pipe and refrigerator floor.

My Kenmore refrigerator broke. Ivan from Triton came over and did a great job. He installed parts and cleared a blockage that took quite a while. But he was able to get it working. Very satisfied I called Triton. They were very responsive and booked the repair for the next day after I called. They had a discount on their Yelp page which I greatly appreciated. If any of my appliances break, Triton would be my first call.

Quick to respond. Was able to solve oven issue and fix it the same day which is a huge plus. A little pricey for the labor but I guess that's San Francisco. Overall, would use service again.

Veet fixed a controller unit in our Viking fridge. He was able to quickly identify the issue and get a part ordered for installation a few days later. He was personable and a pleasure to work with. Thanks Veet.

I called Triton right after the July 4 holiday; Konstantin arrived on time the next day, and did a great job repairing our Subzero refrigerator. Quick, polite, smart, personable, he was a real hit! I will definitely use them again. Ask for Konstantin!

We got the quote immediately and Triton was able to send Veet out the next day. Veet was professional, courteous and punctual. It took him all of 10 mins to diagnose the non-stop squeaking noise from the dryer. He gave me a quote on the parts and labor right there, told me the approximate wait time for the parts. Triton called us when the parts arrived (4 business days later). Veet came replaced the squeaky parts and he also vacuumed up the dirt inside the dryer. The job was done perfectly.
