Montana Tech Athletics

Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)
Montana Tech SAAC representatives play an important role in bridging the gap between athletic administration and the student-athlete body. The committee is designed to integrate ideas and opinions from student-athletes into legislative decisions that will affect our academic and athletic pursuits. These athletes are developing valuable leadership skills as they address changes in rules and regulations, organize community service events, and build a positive image for collegiate athletes.

Montana Tech SAAC Guiding Principles
The Montana Tech SAAC will be guided by the following NAIA Champion of Character principles: integrity, respect, responsibility, sportsmanship, and servant leadership.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Montana Tech Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is to serve as a liaison between the student body, faculty, athletic department and student-athletes. SAAC seeks to enhance the student-athlete experience by providing opportunities while fostering a positive student-athlete image as representatives of the University, the Frontier Conference and the NAIA.
