We rented a van in Queenstown for 3 nights. Van was in fantastic condition, pick up and drop off were a dream and everyone was brilliant to deal with. Highly recommend.

I would recommend this service to my friends. They were friendly and helpful from beginning to end. My son left one of his toys in the vehicle and didn't realize it was gone until we were at the gate at the airport. We contacted Samuels Vehicle Hire, who found it and will be mailing it back to us her in the United States. We are very grateful!

And absolute enjoyable experience in our 12 seater Sprinter van over 3 weeks touring both North and South islands.

Hi all, we recently had a large group of family and friends visiting from the United States and we rented 2 long wheel base sprinter vans from Samuel's. The company were really helpful and great to deal with. Pick up was in Auckland to drop off two weeks later in Queenstown the whole process was seamless and I have no problem what so ever in recommending the company to prospective future hires .

Fantastic luxury vehicle choice for a large group. Spacious luggage compartment along with plenty of inside room for extra bags and bits. Comfortable seats that recline so ideal for long trips. Very economical on fuel too!
Definitely recommended. Great company to deal with!

Dave and Becky have provided a professional and excellent service. From initial contact, communication and website information everything has been formal, clear and friendly. Dave has a breadth of industry knowledge as was evident in the quality and hi-spec of their vehicle. Both very kindly went beyond the call of duty to offer collection and return of the vehicle outside of normal business hours which really meant a lot to me under my circumstances. I recently hired a 12 seater Mercedes Sprinter from Samuels for a 10 man (X Large) to go to Taupo. The service from Becky and Will was exceptional and really helped with make the organization easy. Our vehicle (12 seater prestige range) was so comfortable and roomy for our 9 passengers from Oz for 8 days. Was so economical on diesel too for all the kilometres we did too.
Email, phone conversations, pick up and drop details with Rebecca and David were a breeze!
Certainly would highly recommend them. Once again thank you from all our tribe!

We were met at the airport and walked through all the details. Drop off was suited to our needs of boarding a ship at Auckland cruise port. All communication was answered quickly and everything was very easy to organise. We had 11 people two under 10 and comfortably fitted in as well as luggage. The bus handled beautifully and was very economical to run. Thanks to all for helping us see and enjoy NZ.

We hired a Samuels Mercedes Sprinter so that all of our family could travel from Auckland to Gisborne in one vehicle. It was perfect - modern, large, roomy, very comfortable and we could not fault it. We would definitely hire a van again if required and would recommend Samuels without hesitation. Excellent service as well.

A superb vehicle, very luxurious 17 seaters with good V6 pulling power. Small issue with the cruise control but still enjoyable to drive. My big family of 13 enjoyed our trip from Auckland down to Wellington with no complaints but enjoyment and excitement. Thank you for providing us with a very nice vehicle.

Can’t say enough about our recent trip to New Zealand. Becky at Samuel’s Vehicle Hire was great to work with and was prompt and courteous in her correspondence.
Our hired driver, Tolan Henderson was more than we could have asked for. He was extremely prompt, knowledgeable and best of all, funny. He truly added to our family vacation.

I booked my vehicle way in advance through Becky Owen.
Becky in my opinion is a role model in how to treat clients.Exceptional service and response time and nothing was ever a problem for her- her emails were full of smiles so to speak and I could not be happier in the way we were treated.
Upon arrival at Queenstown we were welcomed by a lovely friendly lady who escorted us to our 12 seater bus.The bus was exceptionally clean and we could not have been happier with the vehicle.

From the get-go the team at Samuels Vehicle Hire have provided excellent service.
We were needing a large mini bus for a wedding to cater for moving a 12 person wedding party. The vehicle was more than I expected, excellent condition and perfect for the day.
Brilliant customer service, no question was a problem, friendly and professional.
I have no faults with these guys and would certainly recommend them to anyone who was wanting to hire a minibus.
I would be returning no question for the next hireage.

Rented the 12 seater from Samuels and the whole experience was great. Pickup and drop off right on time and great communication all along.
The Van was very good and exceptionally well maintained.
This is the first time I am using Samuels and I am very impressed with the whole experience. Definitely this would be my first choice in renting 8 seater or above in the future. Highly recommended.

The process of reservation was straightforward and easy.
The cost of hiring such luxury ride is worth it.
Staff handing over vehicle to us was friendly and helpful, which made our visit in New Zealand really comfortable.

I recommend Samuels Hire's Mercedes Vans anyday over cheaper budget rentals. Price difference wasn't that much more but it was so much more pleasurable to drive and ride in. Very comfortable way to tour Queenstown and it's neighbouring towns.

Has plenty of functions too! Bluetooth was easy to connect. Tiptronic automatic allowed you to select the optimal gear to climb hills. Reversing camera made it easy to park in a normal car park (yes it's possible for a 12 seater van!).

Only criticism I had was the engine size. 2.1L just isn't enough to move such a huge vehicle uphill. The 3.0L would be perfect in my opinion.. But I guess small engine does come with the advantage of a ridiculously efficient fuel economy.. 9.5L per 100kms for a 4 ton van!!
