BUFFALO GROVE, IL — It's nearing outdoor pool season and things could look quite differently than they did one year ago. While a number of area pools either delayed opening in 2020 or were forced to close at times due to coronavirus outbreaks, this summer's season appears to be much more promising.

The Willow Stream Pool, located at 600 Farrington Drive, is slated to open June 14, according to the Buffalo Grove Park District's website. It must be at least 65 degrees for the pool to open. Reservations will be strongly encouraged, as the District will be operating the pool at a capacity of 50 people.
