Joliet Week Ahead Weather: Rain, Rain, Rain

Rain dominates this week's weather forecast, with chances of thunderstorms and one clear day.

JOLIET, IL — The weather this week is expected to be dominated by showers and clouds with high temperatures from the high 40's to the high 50's. The National Weather Service also said there should be some gusty days and released a hazardous weather outlook for fog and thunderstorms.

There's a 100 percent chance of rain Monday night, up to three quarters of an inch. Those rains should last until Tuesday afternoon and some gusts.

The rain is supposed to clear up on Wednesday, when we can expect calm, partly sunny skies with a high around the high 50's. The rain may come back Thursday, though, and the chance of showers will continue through Friday.
