No Snow Closing, Will County Courthouse Stays Open

All of Joliet's schools closed Friday because of the snow storm, but not the Will County Courthouse.

JOLIET, IL - On Friday, list was in the hundreds as far as school closings and other companies that closed their offices because of the year's biggest snowstorm to hit the Chicagoland area. But in downtown Joliet, at the Will County Courthouse. Friday is like any other day. The four-story hall of law and justice remains open for business. On Friday morning, Will County State's Attorney James Glasgow issued a statement on his social media alerting constituents to the news. "We have been informed that the Will County Courthouse will be open today. The State’s Attorney’s Office will be open as well. State's Attorney Glasgow urges everyone to drive with extreme caution today as snow is expected to fall throughout the morning. Please be safe on the roads."
