About me
I'm a professional interpreter taking contracts from private and public enterprises, governments, and the military. At the moment I am pursuing a master's degree in the Philology of the English Language and Comparative Literature Studies. The most important fact about me is that I love teaching, guiding students, and helping them achieve their language goals🦕
I've been actively teaching the English language for the last 5 years to students with various backgrounds, from pupils to medical experts or IT specialists who want to improve their English language skills 🎯. I am certified in both TEFL and TESOL, demonstrating my aptitude for teaching.
One of the most rewarding experiences in my interpreting career was when I received a Challenge Coin 🥇 from U.S. Army General for exceptional interpreting services. Currently, I am pursuing a master's degree in Philology of Foreign (English) Languages and Comparative Literature Studies.
Fun facts: I've got a British shorthair 🐈, American Whiskey and I love learning languages.

How do we learn and progress together:
🎨 When we learn language patterns, together we will also learn WHY native speakers use specific prepositions or syntax, and what LOGIC they use to construct certain sounds and sentences.
🧠 We will learn complicated rules in fun and easy ways, and understanding the logic behind them will help you not simply memorize the rules but analyze, remember and play with them independently.
🌊 You will be showered with correction, repetition, and regular feedback to help you reflect, analyze and build on top of your existing knowledge.
During our first lesson, we will discuss the action plan and how I can help you achieve your goals. You are the star of the show and I will learn from you before I begin to teach. I see relationships with my students as an exchange of values and information. While I coach and direct you through the chaos of grammar, phonology, or syntax of the English language, you teach me how to best help you, what are things you are interested in, and through playful practice, we grow and become better together.
Most of my students speak Russian and as a teacher who also speaks Russian, I understand the linguistic nuances, cultural differences, efficient translation, and challenges the Russian language speakers have to go through when learning English. I will help you acquire and overcome them in a fun and easy way. Learning the language, especially English must be a fun adventurous journey!

Eli is a great tutor! His lessons are very structured, he’s following the curriculum, yet manages to make every lesson (and even homework) fun and enjoyable. The combination of materials such as workbooks, whiteboards, entertaining quizzes and videos is there to make Eli’s lessons engaging. In each session you acquire new language skills as well as a lesson on culture, history and modern insights on the country. Top that with a great conversation with a friend and you have a typical hour with Eli :) I really feel that after 2 months of lessons my Georgian level has improved and I thank Eli for that!

At the very beginning of our lessons with Eli, I asked him to help me understand the jungle of English grammar. Make a particular focus on grammar. And now I can say that I am very pleased that I see my progress. My understanding of the logic of constructing sentences has dramatically improved. I cannot fail to note that as a teacher, Eli is very punctual, stable, and polite. He is also a very smiling and pleasant guy. Each lesson is an entertaining immersion in the English language. Eli also has a very flexible approach to teaching, he can greatly customize the content of the lessons, and topics for study, depending on the student's request.
