It was due to be Murray’s final match at Wimbledon after he had to withdraw from the gentlemen’s singles due to injury and lost with his brother Jamie in the men’s doubles on Thursday.

Judy Murray described the news as 'astonishing' in a post on social media following Raducanu's decision, with some fans labelling the decision ‘selfish’.

Despite her sore wrist, Raducanu was on Wimbledon's practice courts on Saturday afternoon and was pictured again today warming up.

Some fans have taken to social media to mock Raducanu, with some claiming her wrist has 'magically healed'.
