A 46-year-old Suwanee man died when the truck he was riding in overturned, crashing on his passenger side into the ground and the guardrail on Thursday, July 25.
Yauncey Carter of Suwanee was pronounced dead on the scene on I-75 North near the High Falls exit on Thursday morning. Du Luong, 56, of Lithonia, was driving the commercial truck when he apparently overcorrected, struck the guardrail, and overturned. Monroe County EMS took Luong to the hospital, and he is expected to be OK. Authorities said there was substantial damage to the passenger compartment.
