North Monroe County residents who want to serve on the Board of Commisioners can qualify Monday-Wednesday, July 22-24 if they want to fulfill the remaining term of District 4 commisioner George Emami.
Election superintendent Kaye Warren told the Reporter the qualifying times have been set at regular business hours July 22-24. Qualifying is at the Monroe County Annex, 38 W. Main Street, Forsyth.

Qualifying will be at Culloden city hall from 8 a.m.-12 noon on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday.
The open seats are mayor, currently held by Lynn Miller; the council seat currently held by Louise Brice and the council seat that was held by Tellas Daniels. Daniels moved from Culloden and resigned from his position, which ends Dec. 31; it is currently vacant.
