Margaret Niblett of Forsyth celebrated her 104th birthday on Sept. 25 with family and friends. She enjoyed talking about old times and all the places she has visited over the years. The family feels very blessed to have had her for so many years. Mrs. Niblett was born in Juliette and she and her twin sister worked in the mill during the summers when they were young girls. She has lived in Monroe County for most of her life and was an active member of Second Baptist Church for many years. She enjoys people, and on her birthday said, “I believe everybody in Forsyth came to see me!”

Each year since she turned 100, Gov. Nathan Deal has sent Mrs. Niblett a certificate congratulating her on her birthday.
