Maybe my expectations were too high, I liked the actors and the preview had peaked my interest. Just nonsensical or lazy at times. My whole family walked out of the theater and voted it thumbs down. Not walk out during the movie bad, but a terrible aftertaste bad.

I would give this movie 0 stars if I could! I don't understand what critics and audiences saw in it. In my opinion, the fact that this movie won Best Picture at the Oscars and received positive reviews is absolutely baffling. It feels like everything that goes against what is "normal" is being celebrated as the best. It's as if the world is upside down and minds are twisted. It's like saying the clock should go around towards the left instead of towards the right!

Love the actors. Love the messaging behind it. Love the unhinged chaos and hilarity. Only gripe I had with it, is that it was kinda too much to handle the first time (despite the title), a bit overstimulaitng for me. But after a few rewatches I've grown to it.

I hear so many good things about this movie that I wanted to force myself to like it…but I simply couldn’t get into it. The acting was great, love the casting, and I enjoyed the cinematography. That being said, the story was hard to follow and at times silly or uncomfortable (sucking on hotdog fingers??…). If your idea of a good movie is to go to the extremes to be different than you’ll like this a lot.
