Candice Frederick Reel Talk Online And while director Justin Lin's eye for the flamboyant makes the film less credible, it's never not fun to watch even as you shake your head at the absolutely bogus action scenes. Sep 7, 2017 Full Review Jason Bailey Flavorwire Nobody goes to these movies for dialogue. And maybe that's true - but that doesn't mean they have to be written like a bunch of third graders playing "movie" in the school yard. Jun 21, 2016 Full Review Chris Stuckmann ChrisStuckmann.com These Fast and Furious movies are different, they've actually improved upon the mistakes of their predecessors. Rated: A- Apr 23, 2015 Full Review Brett Doze InSession Film These films are clearly designed first and foremost to be fun, and that has never been more true than with the sixth entry. That’s largely because the film is a globe-trotting adventure that features some of the best stunts of the franchise. May 2, 2023 Full Review Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review Garnishing a candy bar with some candlelight and fine dinnerware and calling it a gourmet dessert isn’t going to fool anyone, nor will pretending Fast & Furious 6 is anything more than loud, mindless entertainment. Dave B When do we learn this is prequel to Tokyo Drift? While mostly a great movie for this franchise, the ambitious airplane scene was beyond unbelievable. No way can a C17 taxi for 10 minutes at takeoff speed (probably around 160 mph) and then fly at 15 feet for another 10 minutes (probably closer to at least 200 mph). Firstly, the runway would have to be 70 miles-preposterous. Secondly the ground effect lift and turbulence would cause the plane to rollercoaster out of control. Thirdly, the cars would never ever have been able to keep up. Fourthly, the C17 pilot said they had too many cars on board to take off. How'd he know that? He'd pitch nose up, maybe, but he didn't have a scale. The back bay door was open---that would do it, but a couple of little cars? Gal Gadot's death--what? She fell 10 maybe 15 feet onto the tarmac? Didnt Shaw do the same exact thing and survive? Why didnt they just check on her? At the end they were looking down as if she perished--she was maybe a mile back on the tarmac--probably with some broken bones--maybe clinging to life--go and check!! Very dumb. This was the second worst plane scene in recent decades, the first being in 007 - Goldeneye in '95--definitely one to miss. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 06/25/24 Full Review Chuck H Great action great story no slipping. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/17/24 Full Review Carter C These movies keep on getting better! I like how they decided to switch up the story and characters a little bit by making Owen Shaw the villain instead of some drug lord again. The action scenes blew my mind and the humor made me laugh many times. Although the ending and antagonist might be a little underwhelming, you can’t take your eyes off of this amazing movie! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/13/24 Full Review Ryland C In my opinion the best in the franchise!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/18/24 Full Review Quentin K Female characters have agency now and aren't just accessories! The screenwriting is getting better Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/16/24 Full Review R M The villains feel a bit forgettable but it is still an entertaining watch.
