A German family ignoring humanity, each in their own way, but the "sounds" from the other side of the wall were hardly discernable and of little volume. It's the story of Germans living a typical German family life with the husband ordering parts for a crematorium as if they were for a car. The only message was that day to day slaughter was ordinary business while invested with the same degree of competence and distance that surrounds business enterprises today. Basic and disappointing on a number of levels.
