Literally the WORST experience of a…

Literally the WORST experience of a lifetime! I was hit by one of their customers and they are only paying 80% of the claim. Whatever I'm tired of arguing how ANY of it was deemed my fault. Fast forward to tow truck comes to pickup my car and I hadn't heard anything from the shop for 2 days, called them and my car never arrived. Allstate had the driver take it to a tow yard because the shop was full and couldn't repair for awhile. THEN they email me telling me I am responsible for storage fees or I can pick it up and go through my own insurance and they can pursue Allstate. No way, and make MY premium go up? Not even maybe. Then I call and ask 3 people where exactly my car is and I am told they will find out and call me back. Finally get ahold of adjuster and she says she will work on finding a shop, meanwhile my car is at some random tow yard. This has been a total nightmare. I wouldn't use Allstate if it was free!! Hopefully you never get hit by someone with them because it will not be an easy or even somewhat easy process.

I can't believe how these people are…

I can't believe how these people are still in business, or are they? I called the claims adjuster...nope, he's gone for a week again. They make it clear there's no point in leaving a message. Ok, they won't pay my claim, let's go with the supervisor. Nope. That voice mail says she'll be back two days ago. Talked to a few lower level people. No result. I've been told by the automatic messaging that my call may be recorded. Well, I now have more recordings than a grammy winning artist!

34 years with a company that does not care

So we’ve been with Allstate 34 years. We used the home insurance about 17 years ago and haven’t ever had a need until these last 3 hail storms and wind storms. They claim my roof is wear and tear issue but they don’t cover that. I’m so disgusted. We have been with them long enough that we’ve probably paid for 3 new roofs! You’re in good hands with Allstate. Bull crap. You get let down. And our new lady that runs the Allstate we are with wouldn’t even take the time to reach out to us. We talked to a guy in another state. They said our shingles slid down. Even though the nails are still in the plywood but it’s wear and tear. I just cannot even believe it. I can’t remember the exact dates they came but there were 2 different inspectors.

Inexperienced allstate employees

I've been with alstate in past. But recently resigned for home insurance 2 weeks ago. Been nothing but problems. Who ever took phone application didn't even fill it out on actual application. So now my rate is changing and I have no idea what is covered on my policy. Probably the worst experience I've had with an insurance company ever in my 55 years of life. CALL SOMEONE ELSE. Update May 21 and still no answers from allstate. I still don't know what my yearly rate is. And I still don't know the coverage I have. Run as fast as you can from ALLSTATE

Allstate has created a Kafka-esque ruse to avoid…

Allstate has created a Kafka-esque ruse to avoid paying valid claims. Allstate (Home) has a subsidiary 'Alacrity' (distinct from Allstate in name only) that Allstate 'uses' to hire the third-party inspectors who come to your home to assess the damage. These third-party contractors send the information on to Alacrity who then review the estimates and 'modify' them before sending them on to Allstate for settlement. In my case, I had a very large 20x30 steel carport destroyed by a tornado, leaving a pile of twisted steel behind. The third-party inspector (Cowin) came to my home, assessed the damage and reported this to Alacrity. Alacrity refused to send the estimate on to Allstate, basically denying I had a carport. Allstate is now denying my claim based on Alacrity denying I had my carport, despite Cowin confirming I did along with my submitting recent photos and the testimonials of my next-door neighbors, all upstanding citizens. Allstate forbade Alacrity, their wholly-owned subsidiary, from giving me any explanation. Cowin, to their credit, reiterated their initial assessment and re-sent this on to Alacrity. Alllstate are pure thieves. I am here in name and this review is 100% accurate.

WORST OF THE WORST!!

WORST OF THE WORST!!!
While buying a new car at dealership I was offered to switch to ALLSTATE. I was promised a much better deal than I had with PEMCO at the time, and my premium did go down by $30, but only for a few months, and then it went up by $60.
Then I had a water leak at my house and two water damage certified third party companies confirmed it was a short term damage, whereas Allstate adjuster Nikolas and his manager Ross insisted it was long term and didn’t cover the damage. HORRIBLE COMPANY AND PEOPLE.

First and last time with this company

First time and definitely last time with this company. Contractor been messaging them for more than a week as well as leaving voicemails, so I had to call and ask for a manager and still waiting cause guess what...to actually talk to a manager it usually takes 24 to 48 hours. Hope that I won't have to sue them if they don't take care of my issue. But right now they are just ignoring my contractor and lie to him by letting me know that they will call him back. So unprofessional and as soon as they are done with my claim I will start looking for a better insurance company.

I am confused with the service I been…

I am confused with the service I been giving after years of having car insurance. I had the multiple insurance at one point, but I dropped everything but one car. Well an agent happened to call me one day, saying that she could save me some money. It ends up giving me Problems. Rather than correct what should’ve not been done in the first place, with me not signing papers to move forward. The lady took upon herself to do so. Now I am having to get car insurance. She was to cancel the homeowners insurance only which I should not had to do in the first place. So I been without car insurance since 4-27-2024. Because I needed her to cancel the Homeowner Insurance Only.
Called because I go online to print a my insurance card, but I been canceled 😡 out totally. Now what type of service is that…! Who are these people working in these companies? This should be unexpected in business.
Where is the Customer Service…?
Warm regards
T.H

"YOU ARE NOT IN GOOD HANDS WITH…

"YOU ARE NOT IN GOOD HANDS WITH ALLSTATE" They raised our rates by 30% for no reason. When I asked them why, they said it was mandated by Wahington State law. Which was a lie. They have rude customer service. They treat you with disrespect. Don't trust them, or you will be sorry.

Terrible on response

Terrible on response. Then when Simpson finally did respond, he suddenly stopped. My policy change request was important before my renewal was approaching as Allstate was charging me a significant monthly increase. And he just left me hanging. Then when I call, you get sent to a voicemail service, no answer! I am leaving as we speak.

Terrible Drivewise tabulation

We just recently switched back to Allstate after having been with another carrier for the past six years Allstate has a program called Drive-wise supposedly to help you save money on your biannual reviews and new policies. This program is the worst program that I’ve ever seen my wife. My daughter and I are all registered. It took 3 1/2 weeks to get my wife’s phone registered and in the past two weeks, it doesn’t even calculate my wife’s drive in the morning to work or her drive back home from work and every now and then it picks up one of her three drives on Saturday when she goes to church. We’ve had the program since May 1 and my wife’s driving record has recorded three trips she works Monday to Friday drives to and from work drives to pick up my grandson from school drives to church and back on Saturday goes window shopping to probably three or four stores on Saturday and it hasn’t captured any of these trips

Best hope your home doesn't sustain any…

Best hope your home doesn't sustain any hail damage because they will claim your home is completely fine. We have two vehicles with hail damage including busted windshields after a baseball sized hail storm, yet Allstate seems to think our roof came out completely fine. It took them almost two full weeks to even have an inspector on site. Meanwhile neighbors all around us are having their roofs replaced while we are getting this kind of response from our insurance company. In our opinion, not only did our roof sustain damage, but you definitely won't be in "good hands" with Allstate. claim 0741409940

Disgeniune

I wrote a review after they approved a claim and now they are giving me the runaround. I won't receive an item of similar value and it's taking forever for the property to be replaced. I get the impression this particular company hates having to pay up. Shameful. I won't shop at Walmart in the future just because of All State.

Racial denials!

Allstate is purposely denying people of color , in my opinion, claims on their houses. If anyone else that is of color has experienced this - please respond to this review.
I can also be reached at
I believe there are class action ramifications from
their actions .

I requested a quote & agent pulled…

I requested a quote & agent pulled credit without giving me quote & now I get no response from agent. I called 1800 Allstate to complain and customer service rep refused to help me kept me on the line for 12 minutes without transferring to manager, supervisor another rep & wouldn’t disclose his name just stayed silent. This is ridiculous Allstate just goes silent when you have an issue. Insurance agent went silent & customer service agent went silent. Can you imagine if you have claim??? They will just go silent. I can’t believe after requesting a response from agent & one from the complaint dept that shows if you have feedback on an agent. The only resolution they had was for me to go to legal dept. when I just wanted to get a quote that I never received & complain on agent. Allstate is either a terrible company or I just happen to get the 2 worst representative of the company they have.

My car was T-boned by a driver covered…

My car was T-boned by a driver covered by Allstate Auto Insurance. My insurance spoke with witnesses who were there and quickly determined that the other driver was at fault, sped to run a red light, and hit my car. Allstate denied our claim without speaking with the witness. When I begged them to call the witness, they finally relented but said it wouldn't matter and then refused to listen to what the witness had to say. I will never use Allstate and strongly suggest avoiding them at all costs. This is insurance fraud.
