what's in my bag.

Let's take a look.

I've got these gorgeous chic shades

and they go with this outfit,

as you can see.

Oh girl.

They get very ashy.

So I have to use body oil all the time.

And this is my favorite.

It's Palmer's coconut oil

and I bring it everywhere with me.

And this guy right here is everything

because it leaves no white residue.

Now I've got into 80s Afro chic.

I've decided to go natural.

I think braids over a Afro is here to stay.

This is a Fenty beauty powder.

So important, like I get so oily.

I'm an 18 year old.

I go through puberty and just like hormonal acne,

I've had it all my life.

My makeup for me is a way of expressing myself.

And it's also kind of like armor for me to go

out into society and like navigate it

as a trans woman.

My keys.

I know they're not glamorous

I need to get like a keyring or something.

But it's so important that I have these

in this bag because girl,

the amount of times I've been locked

out of my flat, not cute.

All nighter setting spray from Urban Decay.

After I use this little guy over here,

I'll just quickly [tongue clicking] my face

and I'm ready to go.

Next, I love Soap & Glory.

I really do.

It's like one of those hand creams

where you walk past somebody and they're like,

What was that?

And you're like, Girl, it's Soap & Glory.

You won't believe it.

My card holder.

This is everything.

It's got all my money in it.

Money, money, money.

Everybody asks me like,

You always smell gorgeous.

What does that smell?

Yes, it's this hand cream, but also this,

I dunno how to pronounce the name guys.

And I just feel like I just did a perfume advert.

Vaseline, because I always have

to make sure my lips are moisturized

or just my arms, everything.

Obviously I don't carry this around all the time.

Just in the times where I need a little bit

of motivation.

It's got my name on it and it says Pride Icon.

It wasn't just a win for me,

it was a win for the whole community

in the sense that we are being seen.

Of course, AirPods.

It's a bit rugged and haggard now.

People always come up to me and they're like,

Why is your case so ugly?

I'm like, Girl, this is my baby.

Don't talk about her like that.

So not many people know this about me

but I do actually wear contacts

and so I always make sure that I've got a spare.

I think the left one popped out last week

when I was at the trans march.

Always, always, always,

if you wear contacts, glasses,

make sure that you've got a spare.

These are something I very much need

in my day to day life.

These are my hormones.

I carry these everywhere with me just

in case I forget or I'm having a lazy day.

These are really important, obviously.

And lastly, but not least, of course,

everybody has a phone in their bag.

I came across this artwork through Instagram.

I love it.

I love the trans flag on the eye.

And when I open my phone and I'm speaking

to like a straight boy or something,

he'll be like, Oh, you're trans.

And I'm like, I am.

So this has helped me in a lot

of dating situations.
