When a freezer suddenly stops working, the time is of the essence. Calling the wrong technician may only exacerbate the situation. Luckily, I called the same repairman who fixed my Samsung fridge in the garage 5 years ago. It still works! Jim came to our house very promptly and quickly diagnosed the problem. He suggested reasonable and cost efficient solution. In 30 min the freezer start working and food was saved!
It was evident that he cares about his service quality and the best customer experience. Jim explained what to watch for in my refrigerator to avoid similar situation in a future (compressor noise, fan clogged with dust, ice build up, etc).

I don't often write Yelp reviews, but I'm moved to write this review for Jim (Ampereca) because he is so good! I'm so glad we found Jim to handle our repairs. He really is so knowledgeable and earnest and so easy to work with. He first repaired our wine cooler/fridge. He knew exactly what the issues were and handled the repairs really smoothly and at reasonable cost. He also looked at our buzzing AC unit at the same visit and quickly identified/fixed the issue at no additional cost. Then we had him back to repair our Thermador range that had 2 broken burners. It was a pretty complicated fix. He had to unbolt the panel under the burner that had been basically fused shut due to all the usage over the years. He explained what was wrong, ordered the necessary parts, came back to install the new parts, and explained in detail what he was doing. You can really tell the talent and experience that he has. HE KNOWS EVERYTHING!! We also recently had him back to fix the broken ice machine in our SubZero (it had been fixed ineffectively twice through the years and I had practically given up in having it working again. As you can see, I've relied on him for numerous and complex fixes on a LOT of the appliances in our house. I've recommended him to all my friends. I'm so happy with his workmanship, attention to detail, thorough knowledge, reasonable cost, and quick responses. You'll be happy you called him.

Our Kenmore (LG) fridge stopped working all the sudden and I was in a panic calling around on a Saturday. Jim was able to come by in the afternoon to perform diagnostics. I like the way he was able to calmly explain the issue with the fridge compressor. He also happens to have a replacement compressor for the fridge. Jim was able to fix the fridge with a reasonable price in less than 2 hours. Overall a great experience! Highly recommended.

I have a few rental properties and as you would expect that some appliance is always gonna need some care. Jim has been my go to guys with all sorts of those issues and really have same my headaches. Jim is very prompt to the issue and deeply care about the quality of his service. He also charges fairly and always gives you his honest opinion.
