Our fridge went out and we contacted the service line at SubZero for a recommendation. The three local repair people in the area were not even located on Yelp WHICH is where we eventually found Ivan. We had called and left messages for three other people. Ivan was our fourth Yelp call and while I was leaving the message he called right back!! We were expecting a two to three week service response time and Ivan was there within the hour.

Ivan came prepared, neat and knowledgeable. He does have a service call diagnostic fee (that can be applied to the repair) of $95.00 (SUPER reasonable) but we did not have to pay that because he immediately diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts while he was in our home.

During this entire process I thought for sure we would either have to wait weeks for the service call or at least weeks for the parts and there would be alot of trial and error and guessing .. NOPE!! Not in the case of Appliance General. We called on Monday and here I am leaving a review after completed work on Thursday. Ivan knows his stuff and obviously has experience with SubZero.

Ivan can do it all. We are having him back next week to get the home ready for winter with a HVAC service and cleaning!!

Terrific response and work! Great working with Ivan-follow up is terrific and feel assured they understand the mechanics of various appliances-they are our go-to place for our home. Will be recommending to neighborhood association as well!

Had a washer that wouldn't drain. Ivan made time to come out the next day to diagnose and fixed it in record time. Very courteous and responsive. Look forward to working with Ivan again.

I wish I could give a higher rating but. The guy came on time. That was good. He did not do any diagnosis with any tools. He said it is freon leak without any evidence to support it. I chose this vendor because yelp gave it 5 star rating. But I do not feel it is a 5 star vendor. Disappointed.

Grateful for Ivan's responsiveness! He was able to schedule a same-day appointment and diagnose the issue with my washing machine. I appreciate his communication, transparency, and mindfulness of costs as he was diagnosing the issue. Highly recommend!

Ivan was very responsive, was able to coordinate an appointment time that works and he was able to take care of the problem quickly. He explained to me what happened and how he was going to fix it (washer was leaking water) and I appreciate that kind of communication.

After searching for days for a reliable repair service, I stumbled upon Appliance Repair Generals. I could tell by the pictures posted that, business owner and service provider Ivan knew his stuff.

He's a no fuss, no BS kinda guy and was able to thoroughly access and fix my LG washing machine that had been making strange clanking noises.

During the process he even told me what to look for if my machine was truly broken. And at one point during the assessment, when he couldn't find the issue causing the strange sounds, offered to keep my service request open and call again if the noise continued at no extra charge.

Ivan is attentive, honest and transparent, and I will for sure be using his services again.
