Japan Center Garage

I had a monthly pass here while going to school, cheaper than paying to park at school, that's san francisco for you. Management is really nice and the facility has two stations for electric vehicles. My only complaint would be the other divers that park here that can't park and take up multiple spots, which can be an issue on days they have events and parking is difficult to find. I wish the would give those people parking violations like if they parked on the street. Conveniently located close to shops and a few muni stops.

Cheapest covered parking rates I've ever seen in San Francisco, an easy-to-navigate lot (no crazy tight spaces or ridiculously steep driveways), and security cameras placed all over. I'm pretty sure there is no better place to park in SF. Love it so much that I have a monthly pass. Best $165 I've spent in awhile.

Really deserves 6 stars, but I'll have to subtract a star and only give 5 since as the name would suggest, this lot is located in Japantown and is connected to the Kabuki Hotel. This is important because I have a weird complex about being Asian and walking around Asian-themed neighborhoods in tourist-destination cities like SF.

I always feel like the non-Asian tourists are going to drop whatever they're doing and suddenly start taking pictures of me while saying something to the effect of:

"Look, we found one wandering in its natural habitat!"

...in whatever native gibberish they speak.
