When in need of a ride from SFO to downtown, MyShofer is a fantastic alternative to a typical cab. Moderately more expensive, one of the drivers will pick you up right at your gate (20 bucks extra if you want them to flash a sign with your name on it - pfffttt - a simple phone call will do) and escort your tired, cramped from crappy airplane seat bum into a luxury, super comfy Lincoln Town Car...complete with a little "tour guide" chatter along the way if you so please. A very nice beginning and end to your next trip to the City by the Bay! Or Napa! Yup...they'll take you anywhere.

If I could give Tom from My Shofer 10 stars I would. We needed a ride from Lafayette to St. Helena for a 5 hour event. Tom was most accommodating. He was such a breath of fresh air in this crazy world. Upbeat, friendly, knowledgeable, punctual and sensible are a few words to describe our experience with Tom. He's a gem. Hard to find these days!

I'm an out of towner who found out about MyShofer via Yelp. With all the five star reviews, I decided to give it a shot. I needed a 6am pickup from where I was staying at the Mission to Union Square.

Dependability was important to me because I was heading to the starting line of the Nike Women's Run Marathon. Five minutes before the scheduled pickup time, my cellphone rang and the driver let me know he had arrived. Great!

The car itself was sleek and nice, the driver pleasant. I took away one star because I was charged $25 instead of the the $20 quoted on the website for a ride less than 4 miles (still gave a 25% tip despite). I would suggest confirming with the dispatcher the quoted price on the website when scheduling a car. Otherwise, a smooth ride.

We had a wonderful experience with MyShofer! This service caters to both the San Francisco Bay Area and Napa Valley/ Sonoma- exactly what we were looking for!

I booked our service with Tom, who set up our pick up time and location when we landed in San Francisco. We set up our service to have a driver everyday while we were in Napa (so we wouldn't have to worry about drinking and driving!) and our last two days in San Francisco. This was MORE than just a driving service. Tom showed us 2 wineries that were not on our itinerary that ended up being our absolute favorite, and gave us the best tour of San Francisco! He knew a lot of spots that only locals or frequent visitors would know about, which made our experience so much better.

We highly recommend this service to make most of your time and your experience in both Napa Valley and San Fransisco. And if you just need a ride from the airport to Napa and back, this is the best way to do it! We look forward to returning next year and using MyShofer again; And thank you Tom for making this trip so memorable- see you again soon!

I recently tore the MCL and ACL in my knee and have been relying mostly on my husband and taxis to get to and from work. I decided to try MyShofer for several reasons: taxi drivers are a little rough (I can't really take jarring movements rights now), I have been turned down by taxi drivers because they "do not have time to drive out to the avenues" or they do not take credit cards (I rarely carry cash) and I often have to stand on the side of the curb downtown for 20 to 30 minutes before actually getting into a cab.

My MyShofer driver was Ryan. He arrived 10 minutes before my scheduled pick up time, opened the door for me and helped me in and out of the car, and was all around very nice. He arrived in a very clean Prius - no funky smells or mysterious stains on the upholstery like you might find in a typical cab. But best of all, I did not feel like I was going to be in a car accident - Ryan was a very safe and gentle driver. I love that I can pay ahead on time and not have to fiddle with credit cards and receipts before I leave the car. And I especially love that I don't have to wait 20 to 30 minutes to get a ride home.

Overall amazing service, very efficient and clean! I will definitely be using MyShofer again.

I've been using My Shofer for nearly a year and a half now, and I've been remiss about writing my review.

I travel quite a bit for work (almost 30 trips last year) and I've got it down to a science. As in, leave my house at 1.5 hrs before the flight so that as soon as I get through security and arrive at the gate, my group is boarding. This means that my ride to the airport can NOT be late - enter My Shofer.

They are on time. Every. Single. Time. (Except once and they were on the ball about contacting me an hr before and letting me know they were running late. I was worried but the driver ended up being only 5 mins late.)

The drivers are professional and polite; the cars are clean; and I can't find a cheaper price from SF to SFO. I use their services regularly and would totally recommend them!

Even though MyShofer has made some mistakes in the past, they've really gone out of their way and done everything in their power to make things right. They've offered me a free ride, assigned a particular driver to me, and even send the driver early to make sure nothing goes wrong again.

I applaud their efforts. Everyone makes mistakes at times, but very few companies do this much to make sure their customers are happy.

Due to BART strike, we tried My Shofer for the first time and were very pleased. Online reservation process was easy and we appreciate that you get a quote before committing. More expensive than Bayporter or SuperShuttle, but it's door-to-door and you don't have to wait for other passengers. About the same price as a cab too (we took car from SFO to east bay).

Made reservation for 5p, even though our flight was scheduled to arrive at 4:30p. Flight actually landed early and we were happy to get a text from the driver at 4:30p saying he was already at the cell phone lot (we provided flight info when booking). Timothy was courteous and got us through traffic and home as fast as he could. He had memorized the entire route (no apparent use of GPS navigation). Oh, and he had mini bottles of water waiting for us in the car.

Recently my husband and I needed to get to SFO airport at night and come back.

Since this service is highly evaluated by yelp, I used this service. The driver arrived 5 min ahead of time and texted me.
And when I had another service from the airport, as soon as the plane landed,
I got a text message.

Both drivers were really professional and nice.

Definitely will use this service again.

Just flew in from Houston yesterday and used MyShofer to get from SFO to my place in San Francisco! I found them through the SFO website, saw that they were one of the few services with 5-star Yelp reviews, and reserved a Prius with Gate Meet the night before.

Booking was a snap, and when my flight arrived an hour late, I saw a text message waiting in my inbox as soon as I got off the plane, letting me know where to spot my driver. I never needed to call dispatch, deal with payment the day-of, etc., because it was all handled through booking the night before, and when they saw that my plane was running late, they sent a driver at the correct time.

I'd definitely recommend them, and would definitely use their service again!
